Enter to Win a DVC Membership!

Saw this on DisZine today (Source)

"Disney Vacation Club's "Getaway Your Way" sweepstakes will offer one lucky grand prize winner a sample Disney Vacation Club Membership at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas in Florida.

From now until January 31, 2013, entrants can play a virtual board game where they "race" Disney Villains in order to accumulate virtual vacation points. Players can accumulate a maximum of 500 points or a total of 10 daily entries."

WOW!!! Who doesn't need more points? Even if you don't think you want DVC you should give it a go because seriously, you do want it you just don't know it yet. Best prize ever wink

To register for the sweepstakes and play for your chance to win, please visit disney.com/disneyvacationclub.

Cool! The games are pretty cute with the Disney structures and player pieces.

It is actually a trial membership for 3 years. The minimal amount of points you can win I believe is 160. I have been playing this for the last 3 days and it is so much fun.

Still a pretty cool prize! Room costs are such a huge part of a vacation budget, especially if you're staying at the Deluxe hotels. Three years of having my room paid for, I'm totally down with that. I haven't had the time to start playing yet, but I keep meaning to check it out for myself.

Thanks for the tip Kristen! I've been playing and am having a great time doing it. I've already starting planning just in case I win. I've been looking at the AKL DVC points chart figuring out how many points can get me what kind of room. I'm a nut! but a hopeful nut wink

Hubby and I are both playing. It's a lot of fun even if we don't win.

I just played and the villian I was playing against moved seven spaces. Weird or what???!!!Maybe it is because I am getting close to 500 points and they want me to play longer. I was on another site and they said the game cuts off at 500 points. I did lose to 2 out of 3 tonight which kept me to still be under 500.

I am about 5-6 days in and nearing 500 points. I think I am at 460 points. Seems like I win one day and lose the next. Never seem to win 2 days in a row. Probably to keep you close to the 500 point max.

Thanks - one thing I noticed when "rolling" the die - if you actually drag your mouse like you are rolling it - rather than just click on the die - I tended to get higher numbers - 4's, 5's and 6's.
Also - as I got closer to 500 - I stopped getting those bonus 3 points and opted for the move up 5 spots; used the souvenirs more when I got to the traps so I didnt lose a turn in order to win the race.
It kind of disappointing that once you get the max 500 points, the game ends regardless of how many days you have left. It was kind of cool to kill a few miutes a day playing - hahahaha!!!!!
