Tragic indeed. I think doubly so since this experience is closing anyway. A few months earlier and this person's life might have been spared today.

Sad news. I know NASCAR got a heavy hurricane of criticism regarding the lack of SAFER barriers throughout the track recently. By the looks of it, there were no SAFER barriers at the track though it's debatable whether or not it would've prevented the death. I posted a on-ride video of the Exotic Driving Experience that was mentioned and the fact that the driver and instructor only wear helmets makes me think it's not enough in the name of safety. At least with the stock car experience, you have to wear a fire suit, helmet and the HANS device like the NASCAR drivers do.

Regardless, still a sad story.
"All my life I wonder how it feels to pass a day, not above them but part of them.
And out there living in the sun, give me one day out there, all I ask is one to hold forever. Out there where they all live unaware, what I'd give, what I'd dare, just to live one day out there."
Very sad indeed.
