Favorite Quick Service Meals at Disney World

I am in a Foodie mood this morning...and I am craving the best quick service meal I had at WDW on my very first trip (July 2010): the Greek Salad at the Electric Umbrella. It was the first thing I wanted to do on my next trip (March 2012), but it was gone! There was a Caesar salad instead...I am wondering if it was seasonal. I will be there in July again for this trip, so hopefully it will have returned!

What are some of your favorite quick service meal staples?

mmmm, the Taco Salad!! Pecos Bills is fiance's family's favorite--we ate there a bunch on my first trip! haha

oooh I also like Pizza Planet pizza! I think it is more about the idea of eating at "Pizza Planet," though, as I am a big Toy Story fan.

I will have to try that Grilled Cheese! I LOVE Grilled Cheese, but I haven't had one at Disney yet. Can you tell I am starving, too??

Someone else give me yummy ideas I may have overlooked on the last trip. This is the hard thing about Disney: so many fantastic things to eat, so little time, no matter how many times you have been!

I second the nutella and fruit waffles at Sleepy Hollow. DH loves the shrimp basket at Columbia Harbour House too.

I'm all about the Tangerine Cafe at Epcot! My favorite is the Specialty Wraps - served with Tangierine Couscous salad and Lentil salad. I always get the lamb one. And of course the baklava!

Anything at Sunshine seasons in EP

Corn dog nuggets at Casey's Corner in MK

Egg Rolls from Yak and Yeti Kiosk in AK

Have to think about HS, but I also agree with everything that everyone has said above... Especially Mr. Hub's suggestion of the Grilled Cheese at Poly. OMG is that yum.

Ok, time to eat somethin!

I'm seriously starving now, you guys!!

I have tried sit-down Yak and Yeti, but not counter-service Yak and Yeti. That is on my list for next time!! I hope it's just as good, because sit-down was UH-MAZING.

I love a Dole Whip or a Citrus Swirl, too!

Casey's Hot Dogs at MK are the BEST!

The Beet Salad at Sunshine Seasons in EP is AWESOME!

And I will NOW BE HAVING a Nutella Waffle, Thank you Finngirl for the picture that sealed THAT deal!!

And Tangerine Cafe...here I come!! Thanks for that tidbit, Kris!

They're a soft pretzel that's drizzled with chocolate (what I get) or (I think) a frosting/glaze. I'm not sure but the pretzel itself might be slightly sweeter than your typical soft pretzel. They're yummy & are a great snack/pick me or lighter not so sweet dessert option. Combine with the beverage of your choice (I could see the chocolate being tasty with a cup of coffee) & 10 or 15 minutes of sitting to rest & recharge & you've got a lovely break.

Best quick-service meal at WDW? I'd have to go with Earl of Sandwich, any of several sandwiches would probably top the list.

MK - chicken sandwich at Golden Oak Outpost
AK - Flame Tree BBQ
Epcot - oh, man...schoolbread in Norway. It's a meal if you eat three. Smile
HS - pulled pork sandwich at the place across from ToT

Whew!! Tons of answers here! I haven't been back over the weekend. I live in a certain town in Central OK that has been beaten to death the last two weeks, SO I may have been in a hidey hole somewhere haha

It was nice to come back to a ton of suggestions!! I will look through them all, though I am positive Flame Tree BBQ will be visited now after all of the mentions it got!

@Nancy D- I will do that now : ) And thanks for the name compliment!

CHOCOLATE MOUSSE!! I am a sucker for that...added to the list (twice). Also, a Dole Whip, since I have never had one.

I would have to go with:

Taco Salad from Pecos Bills

Corn dog nuggets at Casey's Corner

And we always hit up Earl of Sandwich at least two or three times per visit. Love that place as well. I like the Backlot Express at MGM too. Nothing 'great' but usually will share a chicken finger basket and make our own chili cheese fries and do some people watching and just relax there.

It's surprisingly good & a nice change from the usual quick service desserts. It's certainly not the quality you would get in a good restaurant but for a theme park fast food chocolate mousse it's excellent. I almost always end up at the ABC Commissary for lunch when I'm at HS just for the mousse.
