Festival of the Masters

I have never even heard of it

It seems to have more notoriety this year than in the past. I've read some blog posts about it, but it sounds kind of sad. Like a bunch of people trying to sell their work, while a bunch of Disney-goers just kind of inspect it and move along.

I have not attended this festival myself, though I really like the idea of it, since I like many forms of art and learning about the production of it. I would be really interested in seeing how all manner of Disney-related art is produced, as well as taking some hands-on workshops, because I like "learning vacations". But I would find it much more appealing if it were just geared toward adults. The fact that they take such pains to involve children in everything makes it lose a bit of its appeal to me.

I think somebody should volunteer to attend this next year and review it in depth for the rest of the board.

Wow, that looks fantastic! Exactly the kind of thing I'd like to take a couple of days to check out.

I wonder when it'll be next year. I'm more than willing to review it for the board (assuming I can take the vacation!)
