We certainly need to throw out the quintessential EPCOT mascot to make more room for Mickey, cause you can't find Mickey anywhere else...
Of course if they replaced him with Eeyore in a Figment costume...

Not sure if Figment is all that quintessential anymore. Nobody rides Journey into Imagination since its changes took place, ad he's just not as prominent a character as he was in the 80's.
I think it make sense to move him on and make way for the character everyone DOES pay to see.

I can't say that I've ever actually SEEN the figment character in costume..

This bites the big one! Figment was one of my faves as a kid of the 80's. Always associated EPCOT with Figment. Not fond of the new version of "Journey Into Imagination' but my kids like it. I prefer the original. I'd rather see him around EPCOT than that bear Duffy, who I never even heard of until this year....UGH!!!!!!
We still go on "Journey Into Imagination' every trip! No it's not like the old one with Dreamfinder, but its still cute.

Now don't get too upset because if you check the date on that thread you will see that it is 4 years old and was resurected. 
I'm a figment fan too. Like everyone else, I preferred the original ride to the new one, but I still hop on every time I'm at EPCOT.
