During Halloween is the really cool parade with the headless horsemen only available to see if you buy tickets to the MNSSHP? I've been soooooo hoping to see the headless horsemen when we go!

I haven't been during Halloween but I believe the Headless Horseman only makes an appearance during MNSSHP.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Lol that just kinda shmooshed my dreams hahaha...ok maybe a bit dramatic but hey...thanks for the answer though!
You're welcome. And hey, who knows, I could be wrong. I'm sure someone will chime in if I am.
When i went to mnsshp last year i remember reading that he only makes an appearance during that parade.
Yes only during that parade, its part of the party. Also if it is wet from rain, he does not ride.
He's the opening to the exclusive MNSSHP Boo to You parade! It's a fantastic paade with one of the most 'gets stuck in your head' songs after It's a Small World! (Bet your singing that one now hehe)
MNSSHP runs from around Sept 13th - Nov 1st, ticket prices range from $60 - $70 depending on the date you go. It's a fantastic event, and Hallo-Wishes is amazing!

Tickets are pretty steep, but some of my favorite memories are at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. If you go early in the seasons you can have the park practically to yourself on some nights.
Well maybe we will just have to go...I should hypothetically get discounts on the tickets since Im a cast member...but sometimes WDW doesnt give DLR cast discounts on certain things....

I'm not sure about MNSSHP, but when I bought my ticket for MVMCP last year, it was around $5 cheaper to buy it in advance.

I agree! That event is still been my all-time favorite holiday extra

Like how early? We keep debating about this for next year, but know nothing about it. Like when a good time to go would be and such... how are the crowds... and what the weather is like?

I agree with Brad and we have had some of the rides all to our selves, We did pirates and did not see anyone else on the ride, twice! Did Buzz and almost had to run to get on, there was no one else there and Splash Moutain was empty.
Mase we have gone twice in September. Both times we had very low crowds. One September was very very hot, the next had pretty nice temps. Last year we went in October. The weather was really nice but the crowds were much bigger. We did go two weeks before Halloween though. Based on the crowds alone, I would take Septembers warmer temps over Octobers larger crowds.

The best bet is to avoid weekend parties and you're pretty set in September. Our crowd levels have ranged from 'really good' to 'amazingly awesome.'
