My DH and I are super Disney fans. I had been as a child twice with my family, but my DH had only been to Disneyland until we went in April 2010 with his family. We then decided to return in January 2012 for our 20th wedding anniversary trip as we enjoy doing things and get bored easily just sitting on a beach. Since then, my DH is wanting to go back all the time and this is our annual vacation destination. We've been lucky these past 2 years as after our January 2012 visit, we went again in November 2012, January 2013 and have already booked to go back again August 31st. We have stayed at CBR twice and POR twice. This time we have decided to stay close to Epcot (our favourite park) and will be checking in on the 31st to the Boardwalk Inn.

Thanks! It's great to find a site for adults that are excited as my DH and are I about visiting WDW.
So far the only thing officially planned for our trip in 48 days is an ADR at le Cellier for the Saturday we arrive. We have favourite restaurants that we want to visit, but no other ADR's. we find it's usually ok for us to just wing it when it comes to eating. I guess that also depends on when we visit too! We understand that September is low season, although we've never been when it's really hot.

Hi Jan and welcome! This is a great group of people and Disney fans. I didn't discover the adult joy of Disney until I was nearly 40, and now get to celebrate my 50th birthday there in September. We're like you - sitting on a beach is kinda boring for us. Disney gives us so many options for things to do. We try to go every year or other year.

Being able to go twice in one year is fantastic! And doing that 2 years in a row?!?!? Awesome!

stars yeah stars

Erm,I would highly suggest making a few adrs as although its low season, free dining was offered for that time!

Welcome, Jan J! We're glad to have you!

Yum...Le Cellier!!

I've heard great things about Boardwalk, too! What made you decide to choose that one this time? Just close proximity to Epcot?

I have always wanted to enter through the International Gateway!

We enjoy Tokyo Dining, Raglan Road, California Grill, Flying Fish, Kona Cafe and our new find is Yak & Yeti. We are also going to try the Sci-Fi Dine in at DHS this visit - always wanted to eat there.

We spend a lot of our time at Epcot walking through the WS and like you, we always wanted to enter through the International Gateway and be steps away from our hotel. We also like the Boardwalk area for restaurants and are interested in seeing more of what happens after dark. It was a good price with the discounts, so we thought we would splurge this time.

Thanks for the reminder - we may book a couple of more, but we tend to eat lunch either early or late and then the same with dinner. So far, we have had good luck. crossfingers

YUM! Yak & Yeti! One of our favorites.

We are checking the Boardwalk for the first time in the Fall! I am so excited to be staying there during F&W!!!!!

We are also trying Sci-Fi for the first time this trip. I am really looking forward to the atmosphere there.

I was raised at Disneyland, went to WDW on my Honeymoon and we can't go enough now. I still love Disneyland, but there is just something so awesome about WDW that I can't live without! biggrin So I convinced my Husband that we needed DVC. He is glad I did. laugh

Thanks Tammi. We tried the Yak & Yeti for the first time on our last trip and loved it - so definitely heading back this trip. I've always wanted to go to the Sci-fi and can't wait to see it. We are really excited to stay at the Boardwalk this trip and that will be amazing to stay there during F&W. we visited last November and caught the last 2 days and loved it!
We've also thought about DVC, but unsure if it's the right move for us. I think I will have to check it out again.

That is awesome. Did you get the 30% off discount? I can't wait to hear how it goes. Food and Wine is going to be AWESOME this year!!
