Fore!!!

I went through all pages of this Forum...and apparently nobody plays golf? We're not talking mini-golf here...talking big golf. Thinking that's something we would love to do on our next trip. We don't actually play golf...we play at it. Anybody have any experience on the links at WDW?

Though I don't golf, there are a couple of articles and links that have been posted about Disney Golf that I was able to find. Hope this helps you find what you're looking for!

As a big golfer i can tell you that the Disney golf courses are beautiful. They are not too difficult and they are fun to play. You can hear the train from magic kingdom in the background. It is a great experience and well worth it! They used to play a PGA tournament there but unfortunately they removed it from the schedule Sad(

I'm a big golfer as well and have played many times at WDW in the past. I've played Magnolia, Palm and Osprey Ridge a few years back. However, I believe Osprey is scheduled to close sometime in August this year as it's changing to the Four Seasons ownership group.

If I can recall, the green fees were around $120 the last time I played there in July a few years back. I can't recall what the other courses were to play. But I'm sure they are all right around the same cost. They were all excellent tracks and I enjoyed them all.

I'm taking DH when we go on our anniversary trip. I'm hoping to book the super early "if you finish before 11 it's pretty cheap" deal. Smile

Glad I came accross this thread. Hubby and I are big golfers too and have been thinking about hitting up one of the courses during our Sept trip this year. Don't know if we will yet. Does anyone have experience renting clubs at Disney? We originally were going to drive down (and bring our own clubs) but are now going to fly and don't want to bother with the extra bags/fees.

Never experienced it but I know they do offer rental clubs there the courses we have played. I would think all Disney courses would offer this. But I would call/Email the course directly to make 100% sure they do offer rental sticks.

They do rent clubs. They also rent shoes, so you really need to bring *nothing*.
