FP + Scenario Question..

Good Morning All...I have a quick question here...We don't book our FP+ until August but I'am checking out the wait times today on my Disney experience app...Here's my scenario...We arrive at rope drop at MK...We use up our three FP + by 12.00..Have lunch...Then go to Buzz..We go to this kiosk thingy..Zap our wrist bands and it says 14.00-15.00... Question..Do we get a ticket or piece of paper with that time to remind us, or is it just logged onto our band.?...
It's just that I have a short memory span and no doubt forget what time to return..

Nope, no paper. You should write it down. I believe (though I'm not 100% sure) that you would also be able to view it through the app.

Fergus, this is a Magicband, or wristband as you call it. It cannot "show" you anything. Get a pen though and you can right your times on it really really small so you don't forget.

The Magicband just accesses your MyDisneyExperience account. When your at a kiosk, you are accessing your MDE account. All your reservations , tickets, FP+ are attached to your MDE which is connected to your Magicband.

If you had to check it, you could take it to a kiosk and it would show up. Or ask a CM with an iPad to check the time. It might show up on the app, or it might not. The system is still buggy

My husband just got this crazy watch that connects to his phone and displays his texts and emails. It would be so cool (and so expensive!) if the Magic Band could do that.

I'm hoping disney come up with a system where you go to the ride and if the line is too long you touch the machine with your key to the world or magic band and then it prints you off a paper ticket, a fast pass if you will. It has your time slot and name of the attraction on it. Then when your window is open you can return to the ride show the piece of paper to the cast member and jump the line, you can only get one at a time but you would be able to get as many as you like per day and park hop.

I know it sounds like a crazy out of this world idea but it might just work.

Here's another scenario...You arrive at rope drop at MK...You use up your three FP + by 12.00..Have lunch...Then go to Buzz...You go to this kiosk thingy...Zap your wrist bands and it says 14.00-15.00...Then you set the alarm on your mobile phone for 14.00. If your phone is like mine, you can even create a new alarm and name it "Next FastPass" or something.

You can view your fastpasses on your MDE App as long as your park tickets are linked. Most guests take a picture of the screen or write the times down on a piece of paper (I know how barbaric).
