UL yes you can use those boats for that purpose,BUT make sure you get on the boat going in the right direction. The boats go to different destinations depending on which side of the dock you board. They are well marked so you should have no problem.

LOL- you know me well enough to tell me to make sure I get on the right boat laugh

Thank you for that - I think we'd like to go to BC for dinner one night and then head to Boardwalk to check it out. Now I just need to know the best way to get back to BLT from the Boardwalk!

To get back to BLT from the Boardwalk I would say the easiest is to go out the front door of EITHER BeachClub or BoardWalk and take the bus back to MK and then take the monorail back to BLT. Another way would be to walk through Epcot (if you have a ParkHopper pass the get on the monorail to BLT, but I think you would have to transfer at the TTC so with all the extra walking and the transfer it would probably take longer than by bus. AND you could take that Frienship boat from BW or BC to Hollywood Studios then transfer to a bus going to BLT and the Contemp. I am not sure if BLT and Contemp.are separate stops or in they share the same bus stop.

You totally make sense. I suppose a bus to MK and then we could WALK to BLT - it's only like a 5 minute walk from MK to BLT!

THANK YOU! clapping

UL: just another thought. Just make sure that it is not too late in the evening and that MK is not closed so that the buses will be running TO MK.

I'm telling you, though -- I'd take that car!! If you have it, use it awesome Especially if you're going resort to resort and have free valet as a DVC member.

Also, the walk from BC to Boardwalk is less than 5 minutes. If grandma can walk from MK to BLT, she can walk/scoot from BC to Boardwalk. Just giving you another option. Friendship boats are fine, too.

Ahhh, okay - I couldn't tell how far the walk would be based on photos.

This will be after we ship grandma home so walking isn't an issue! LOL However, we will have a vehicle awesome

Ah, I see! (Would still take the car!! Wink ) Yeah, that distance between Boardwalk and BLT can get annoying via Disney transportation. I would park the car at Beach Club, then return to Beach Club after checking out Boardwalk. You'll be surprised at how short the distance is between BC and BW.

It's fun when UL is in planning mode!

I vote for the car too. Especially as a DVC member with free valet. Especially with someone who might tire out easily. Save a few steps and time.
