We got a ton of snow, but it was pure powder and wouldn't "pack" well enough for us to build an Olaf. Maybe if it gets a little melty we will be able to.
We made ice marbles instead.

Neato idea! How is this accomplished?

Seems like we are starting to get a lot of people joining just to advertise their blogs or their FB page lately.
Cool! I'm guessing balloons filled with colored water?
Cool! I'm guessing balloons filled with colored water?
Yep! We set them out overnight to freeze and then peeled off the balloons.
I love that. I'll have remember that. I tried to do the frozen bubbles, but I couldn't get them to stick to anything. They kept popping when they hit the ground.
Hey guys did you hear about Frozen coming to Broadway?

Just read that Frozen in it's eighth weekend was in in the no. 2 spot earning 15 million dollars and bringing it's domestic total to $317 million passing the $312 million record set by the Lion King in 1994. Frozen also topped the international box office with another $27.8 million from some 50 international markets. I predict a bigger "Frozen" presence in Disney World.
I can't wait until March 18 when it comes out and I can watch it over and over

It's not the just the movie breaking records. Frozen is the number one album on the Billboard 200 and Top soundtracks. Over 500,000 copies sold already.
On YouTube, the movie clip Let It Go on the Disneyanimation YouTube channel, has over 37 million views and counting. (Demi's version has 42 million plus and counting.)
And I'm sure some of you heard this already but if not, Frozen won Best Animated Film at the Golden Globes. Unfortunately, Let It Go did not win the Golden Globe for Best Original Song. My money is that Frozen will win Best Animated Film at the Oscars. Oscar for Original Song? Hard to say as of now but it has a great chance.
"All my life I wonder how it feels to pass a day, not above them but part of them.
And out there living in the sun, give me one day out there, all I ask is one to hold forever. Out there where they all live unaware, what I'd give, what I'd dare, just to live one day out there."
WOW so many exciting things in those last few posts!! I just checked for a release date for Frozen like 3 days ago and it wasn't listed yet, so thanks, spook, for that update! Very excited about Frozen going to Broadway--that might be enough to get me to go to NYC. I'm very excited that it has eclipsed the Lion King and I look forward to more Frozen in WDW. Love this soundtrack--can't stop listening to it. Can't wait for the Oscar nominations to be announced on Thursday--let's hope it's a big day for Frozen AND for Saving Mr. Banks!

I FINALLY saw Frozen and had to settle for 2D since our local movie theater (the same as alicemouse's) no longer has it in 3D.
I always stay till the end of the credits because you never know...did anyone notice, in addition to the little final scene, the text joke at the very end of the credits?
Anyway, I thought it was great and might have to see it again.
Yes! We stayed thru the credits and caught that too!
Yay!
Frozen just got an Oscar nomination for best animated movie and "Let It Go" got a nomination for best song!
Glad to hear that.
4 degrees in GA this AM. Wind chill below zero. School out too.![]()
I see WDW temps in the 30s today too!
It was in the 30s. And windy. We went to DisneyQuest that day.
I'm in the Virtual Honor Choir at Disney's California Adventure! One of 700 singers selected from 1500 submissions and one of 200 sopranos from 550 submissions! Click on the link to see it! http://youtu.be/04a199tjhKk

There is so much going around about Frozen that it makes me happy to see Disney so much back to the front light and showing off what they do best. Somewhere Walt Disney is smiling.
And I am so excited about the Frozen musical. I would take a trip to NYC just for that I am actually looking forward to meeting Anna and Elsa
You should check this out! A hotel in Quebec is offering a Frozen themed suite only for a limited time.

We went to see the movie again too! I just keep singing the songs! It is just such a good movie.
Does anyone else play Frozen Free Fall from the App Store on iTunes?? I am totally hooked! I love seeing the scene pop up during the game and Olaf giving me that sweet goofy smile. I don't buy extras in the game but absolutely love playing it
I watched Frozen and found it to be good fun. The reindeer is fun. I stumbled across this online - in a change from adults having a go at covering the song, this is a 9-year old...pretty amazing if she really hasn't had any training:

Yes, that's me in the profile pic...kudos for guessing the movie...
There have been a lot of Let It Go covers on YouTube, I've got to say.
This one got some buzz on Good Morning America a couple weeks ago that'll make you say "Those girls are so adorable"
Here's another one that has a lot of views (Over 850,000 and counting)
A male cover of Let it Go:
And if you're interested in hearing foreign dubs of Let It Go, I've got a few:
French:

Who was the male cover? He was amazing!!!
His YouTube Channel reads, "Court Clark" so I guess that's his real name. And now, Disney has released a 25 language dub of Let It Go. I know there are a lot of One Line Multilanguage videos of Disney songs on YouTube so I guess Disney does pay attention to what's on YouTube these days.....
