F&W Booths

So, as a FL girl, I'm getting pretty excited for F&W Fest, and for all the new stuff that's going on this year, like the Vegan Booth and the Florida Fresh Booth.

For those of you who enjoy the Fest, what are you most looking forward to?

I also would love to do some of the low cost seminars. I know that some sell out fast, but I think there was a lot of capacity for the mixology seminars last year. Did y'all do any of them? Did you like them?

I did a wine seminar last year, but I won't be scheduling anything special this year. Most of my trip is going to be work & research, trying to get a lot of pictures for the blog. I only have a weekend, and my traveling companion on this trip has an online collage class that he will be in while we're there. I think that we'll be seeing a lot of the inside of our hotel room. I made ADRs at places he's never been, and he's got a "to do" list for the Marketplace booths.

I'm looking forward to the Abita Purple Haze beer and Beef Kefta in Morocco, other than that my plan of attack is to hit the booths with the shortest lines and hope for the best!

Chicken Chipotle Sausage, Eiffel Sour Cosmo Sluch, Tuna Poke, Shrimp Taco, Tequila Flight, Korean Lettuce Wrap.....nom nom nom

We aren't going to be doing any special events, but one of the two days we plan on conquering Epcot is a Saturday so we are prepared for lots of long lines.

I loved the Chicken Chipotle Sausage and Tuna Poke last year, so they're at the top of my must-have list for this year. The complete list of stuff I want to sample - both new this year and old favorites - is so long I can't remember most of it. Baklava and creme brulee are on the list. So are the mussels - I love mussels. And I want to try the German sausage - bratwurst this year, if I recall correctly. Oh, heck, there's at least one thing at almost EVERY booth that I want to try.

In the drinks department, I want to try a Sparkling Pomegranate Kir. I would've tried one last year, but it looked HUGE and I was driving. This year, we'll be taking the Disney buses everywhere, and hubby will be along to share it with me.

All the better! laugh Already had this on my "want to try" list...upgrading it to my "must try"!

Awh, CCP, I'm so glad hubs gets to come this year! That's great! And so is that Pom Kir Smile

I need to try the chicken chipotle sausage again. I got it last year after the Wine and Dine Half, at the after party, and I couldn't eat it. I was positively ill after the race. I was so bummed about that.

I need to check who's gonna be here when!
