For any who have stayed at this resort, what can we expect from a "Garden Room"? Where does this overlook?

A Garden Room would overlook any courtyard, lawn, potted plants orgreenspace. It could be a walkway of some sort, there may be part of the building on the other side of the walkway, but it will not be parking lot.
Here is Disney's descriptions of the rooms right from the Beach Club site.
Standard Room with Standard View - Expansive views of Disney's Beach Club Resort gardens, rooftop or parking lot.
Standard Room with Lagoon or Pool View - Looks out on a quiet pool or Crescent Lake.

Great! Thanks, Kristen and MrHub. I was afraid of getting the parking lot or dumpster view......
We stayed at a Garden View room with a full balcony last August.
I also requested to be as near to Epcot as possible. So it was kind of a hike from the lobby, but a real quick trip back to our room at the end of the night.
Our room faced Ecpot, but the view was really of trees.... we could just see the very tops of any of the buildings of Epcot.
That said,it was delightfully private. I would be thrilled to get the same room next time.
We had a garden view on our last trip at YC. I'm sure it's similar. Our room actually faced the water/boardwalk. I'd love to have that view again. We did a standard room at AKL and it overlooked a utility area. I would never do it again based on what they charge for those deluxe resorts.
