When I lived in Winter Park right out side of Orlando, during the summer months, I would just hide in my apartment with the central air on full blast... Or go to the pool for a swim. It does get hot, but it's manageable and it's only during the day. At night it cools down.. Still humid but much better when the sun isn't shining... And it's really only that bad for about 2-4 months... So it's worth it IMO to live down there and be that close to the happiest place on earth!

Mr. Hub, just step away from the speedo, and no one will get hurt.

And remember, Disney is a family park - we don't want to frighten the children. eek

However, I am sure that you could somehow rock this look.

Now back to my previously scheduled vacation. mickey

I believe that the Family Suites at All Star Music and Art of Animation, which sleep 6, is the largest that is not a Villa. I could be wrong though.

In helping my friends price out the cheapest way for their family to stay on property, we found that two Value rooms were cheaper than a Family Suite, or Villa. This was for October 2012. Two Value rooms would sleep 8, but you won't get the kitchenette. I have never had a problem getting adjoining rooms at Value or Moderate resorts.

By the way, if you want to check out a great points calculator, here is a link. Just in case you still looking for an accurate price on a Villa. You can compare all DVC resorts on one page.

Thank you Kristen and WDWfanatic for your awesome tips. I will look in the DVC points because that is something we might consider!I wish it just wasn't so expensive because I know my girls would love to experience staying onsite at Disney!

I warn you though that once you stay on Disney property, you're never going to want to stay offsite again! muchlove

Today: high of 91 low of 75 with thunder storms
Tomorrow:high of 91 low of 75 with thunder storms
Thursday: high of 90 low of 75 with thunder storms (not quite as hot)
Friday: high of 90 low of 75 with thunder storms

And this is what we are getting today compared to WDW. Now this is coming from an app, and I know the only way to get true temps is too be there.

I will take 91/93 with 60% humidity over 99-102 with 50% humidity... actually, those might even out.... so really, if I can survive here, I will survive there.
