Grand Floridian Cafe Or The Wave...

Good Morning....I have a night at Disney that I fancy adding another ADR onto..Now I've already got three signature ADRS and two other TS dining experiences, so this morning I went thro my ritual of checking Disney food sites and one has a review of GFC and the other has a review of The Wave...Both got good reviews and I like the choices on both menus..They also have tables available for the night I want to book...So I'am asking you food fans out there, which would you choose.?..Also have any of you been to either of these places.?... crossfingers

I've never been to either but I've had a great desire to visit the GFC for a while now so I'm going to vote for that!

I have only had breakfast at the GFC which was really good. I have an ADR for dinner there in Oct and lunch at the Wave.

Yeh..I've been checking out reviews on other sites ( it's a habit with me ) and both restaurants get good reviews..The Wave seems to be a " Hidden Gem " according to quite a few folk..It's located in the bottom basement of The Contemporary Resort..Decisions..Decisions... confused

Of the two listed I would choose the wave. Hidden gem is a good description, we tried it on our last trip and muchlove it. And speaking of "Hidden Gems" the Turf club at SSR really falls into that category. To try it is to Love it.

We've eaten dinner at both in the last few moths. No question, The Wave is far superior for a similar budget (for those of us not on the dining plan).

I haven't eaten at either but I'm dying to try the Wave so that would be my pick!

No it's actually located on the ground floor of the Contemporary just past the check in.

The Wave uses all fresh & local products so the menu is constantly changing along with the specials.

Both restaurants are excellent.

Cheers Mr Hub...I don't normally do so many ADRS in our two week stay, That's six now, but it's a two yearly vacation,so why not... clapping

I have to say between the two I have no preference. But I would pass on both and go to Kona Cafe.

Did both this summer and The Wave was so much better for the kind of foods I eat - fresh seafood, veggies. It was soooo good.
