I usually get pretty pumped about ensemble comedies, but I have to say this movie looks pretty terrible. Anyone optimistic about it?

Ha Ha!! I haven't seen any ads for it except for the billboards on the highways. I love the cast, so I really want it to be good!
I too really want it to be good, but I'm afraid it won't be. Sometimes even bad Adam Sandler movies can be pretty good though.
Just found this:

...ouch
The critics have panned many movies that have gone on to be box office successes. I prefer to watch and make my own mind up.
I can only please one person per day. Today isn't your day... tomorrow doesn't look good either.
10% on RT is pretty bad though.
I agree..it's one of those movies that has so much potential..but I know is probably going to be horrible. (Says the girl with Hot Tub Time Machine on her Netflix queue).
Hot Tub Time Machine was decent...not great, but it had funny parts that were not shown in the trailers!
I don't tend to go by any one critic, but when the rating on rottentomatoes is high or low, that's usually a pretty good indication...
Zipadeedoodah -- yeah, man

I really liked hot tub time machine! Then again, I love John Cusack and pretty much every movie he's in
