Sorry if this has been already discussed, but I searched and couldn't find anything..Has anybody got any idea where and when this new shop might open?.

I was going to post about this actually!!! its going to be where yankee traders is now (the shop right beside where you come out of haunted mansion and opposite columbia harbour house) the refurb was announced a few months ago on doctor disney and its scheduled to open 1st october (while we are there

will post when I'm there so you good people can see but I'm sooooo excited for this!

Awesome..Iam surprised it took so long..Yeh I know the Yankee Traders shop..It's kinda small...It's gonna be packed..I can see this shop being like Harry Potters Wand shop, where a CM will stand at the door and let so many people in at a time..

I was SO EXCITED about the wand shop until I got there. MADNESS I tell you! Pretty excited about this shop, I have never done The Haunted Mansion *ducking for cover* I know I know I know....... 
So with a shop, I have a reason to validate my purchase since it will be a first time!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not really big on shopping, but I hope we can find some matching HM T-shirts that we can wear to MNSSHP in lieu of a costume. That would be majorly cool.

I am SO excited about this shop! I love the HM merchandise!!!! Even though it's going to be quite small, I can't wait to see a whole shop dedicated to HM

The merch is a bit gothic for my own taste but I love HM it's also my first ride on the first night, in fact we have no plans to go to a park on our first night this year...... But I'm thinking that could change.
As for the shop what took disney so long?

Im glad that you heard the October 1 opening day, Amy. I thought I saw a date for very late September (I know it was during our fall trip), but every other WDW news source that I read/watch/listen to says that the opening date it TBD.

The refurb is due to last until September 30th so they are expecting it to open on October 1st - keep and eye on Doctor Disney he always seems to have the most up to date refurb news and his rumours are usually bang on!!!
