Have You A Favourite Cast Member.?..

One thing I love about Disney is the Cast Members who always bring a smile to my face,and I've met quite a few over the years whom I have had many a conversation with..Jody at The Wave last year was very funny, Sandrine our server at Artist Point, and Ricardo at The Yachtsman was outstanding with his knowledge of wine, a true somellier ...But there was one who stuck out and I kinda met him on Facebook on the Rose and Crown web site..His name is Carl..When I told him we would pop in and see him, he replied he was looking forward to meeting us, so one day last year in the afternoon we went in for a drink and I spotted him from his photo, and yes, he recognised me from my photo.. I introduced him to my wife and son and tho he was busy working he kept on chatting and mentioned his love for Scotland...So after getting my photo taken with the man ( see snap) we bade our fond farewell, but did visit him again before leaving Disney..It was only after we got home that I found out about his award..I have taken a photo of the article..I never knew this about Cast Members...So I'm hoping to meet Carl next year again, and this time congratulate him on his awesome award...

Craig our waiter at BOG was about he friendliest and most helpful ever, he knew the menu inside out (even the ingredients and was quite helpful when the chef came out to handle allergies) he also knew the perfect drink pairings to have with our dinner. He also made quite a fuss over my ds who was celebrating his birthday. I hope if we get in next trip he'll be there. I'd be willing to wait a while to be seated in his section. So after all that gushing I must admit I haven't run across a bad cast member yet and had several excellent experiences over the years!

I do! It's Jim the Piano Player and he's a Legacy Cast Member. Jim has been tinkling the ivories in that same spot since I was a wee lass. I can remember my Aunt chatting him up as I danced and played. Jim has a huge place in my DIsny loving heart.

Richard at the grand Floridian has to be my all time favourite, just such a lovely man, always welcoming guests and helping the lovely Disney brides. There's even a Facebook page dedicated to him. He turned 90 this week and the cm's threw him a surprise birthday party!

Barbra who dances with move it parade (not seen her on the last 2 trips though) I also love seeing her.

Mike, bartender at Top of the World at BLT. He is always there and always friendly. He grew up in Toledo 45 minutes north of us where my daughter now lives. Very nice guy!

So watchmaker and I must hang out at the same places! We love Jody at the Wave, Sandrine at Artist point, and Ricardo at Yachtsman too. Added to that list is Michael at Narcoossee and Tony the bartender at Territory Lounge. All of them added a little extra magic to our visits. Looking forward to meeting some new CM's when we go in November.

I hear she is a wonderful person!!

I have a couple favorites. Stacy at Yak and Yeti. His humor and smile were contagious! And Steve a MM photographer in AK. He was so winderful with us and the grouos before us!

Of course our very own Mandy (even though i haven't had the pleasure of meeting her in person yet!) and so many others!! I agree with Kristen, Robyn, and oHIo--Jim the piano player, Mike from TOTW, and Richard from Grand Floridian are all splendid!

A few others that I'd like to recognize are Marty the singing boat captain, sailing on Bay Lake and entertaining his guests with his beautiful renditions of Disney's Greatest hits and Linda at the Grand Californian, who made our check-in experience so very magical just by being her wonderful cheerful self at 6:00 in the morning.
