I LOVE schoolbread in Norway. It's probably my favorite dessert. But all the pastries I've had in France are delicious, too. Oh! And the creme brulee I had at the GF intimate dining.

awesome

I LOVE THAT

The chocolate mousse cake from Sunshine Seasons is really yummy. Nice chocolate flavour but not sickly.

Hmmm...Sweet dreams are made of this.....

I agree with you pirategirl, I like desserts that are a bit more tart - I find nearly all the desserts in the USA sweeter than we get back home. I do love the mango pie at yak and yeti, I have to eat it with the fresh mango that comes on the side to cut through the sweetness. that being said, I do have a HUGE sweet tooth. I am a big fan of ice cream - I know to some its boring but I just love the stuff Smile anything creamy for dessert is good for me actually Wink

I can't do ice cream either too much sugar and it makes me deathly ill. yuck I had the carrot cake cookie from Writer's Stop and I could not eat it. The cream in the middle was sooooooooooo sweet well it was just not edible for me.

Yeah, I hear ya! I have the recipe for the mango pie that is served there, but I keep the pulp abit more grainy (less whipping) because we like the texture AND if I add extra gelatin I can cut back on the sweet milk and get a tarter taste. I often "sample" DH desserts, but I too go for Key Lime, or mango and the like. I don't even like margaritas with the sugar on the rim because it's too sweet. Ah well, DH can take down anything sweet, especially if there is a choc drizzle involved.

Me too. In high school & uni I used to make a small batch in the microwave and eat it right out of the bowl.
This year for Christmas I made 12 giant Mickey heads with the silicone cake pan as gifts. I even coated the ears in chocolate and put sprinkles on them .. Lots of work, but totally worth it.
