Hello

Hello, my name is Megan and i'm a Disney Addict.
I am 27 years old and a HUGE Disney Fan. Since 2005 my mom and I have been going to Disney World yearly... my dad does not like long lines and humidity so he stays home with the pets.

My outlook on Disney has changed over the recent years due to depression (and maybe bipolar). There are things I can not do any longer at Disney World such as Rockin Roller Coaster or Mission Space due to feeling really bad (and weird... can't explain it).

My favorite two characters are Figment and Stitch and my favorite rides are: Tower of Terror and Splash Mountain. I miss the old me where things mattered and I cared about. Now I just go through life in a daze. But enough about that. Oy.

Also forgot to include that I love going to Thrift stores and finding Disney things. I try to collect mostly vintage stuff but there's been recent stuff I have found. I have a Disney blog!! Check it out at Everything Dizney

Welcome Megan..I'am as old as time, but I only discovered WDW in 2004 and this year will be our 6th visit...We have been making the pilgrimage ever two years..Because we stay so far away, it takes us two years to get to the land of magic..I wish I wish that time travel existed..As far as roller coasters go...I don't do them either..I done Space Mountain on our first trip..Never again..I still have nightmares about it..LOL..Anyway, welcome to this great site..

Welcome, Megan!! I can't do RNR or Mission Space either--massive claustrophobic here and the restraint systems on those two rides freak me out WAY too much. I tried to ride MS once because I love to spin and thought it seemed like a really cool ride, but I had to be rescued by a CM because I started having a panic attack as soon as the overhead restrain was fastened. sad So you're not alone in just feeling way too uncomfortable to ride certain attractions.

Where are you from & what's your best thrift store Disney find?

The question is not an easy question to answer. lol. I guess my best thrift store Disney find would be 2 of my pal mickey dolls that once interacted with the parks. Of course people donated them when they stopped working...of course what else would you do with them? I brought one to DIsney World the year I found it hoping that they did keep the interactive part, but no... BUT
to my surprise when I did bring it to guest service they offered me a certificate for $25 so I could buy another souvenir!!!
