We are all about Disney here and hopefully you're going to love it there! Immerse yourself, but take time to "smell the roses". So what plans do you have set? Have any ADR's planned? We love to talk food here.

Thank you. I only know about one, which is Cinderella's Castle, we're having lunch there our first day. I know we have at least two more booked, but hubby is keeping them secret...the dog.

We will be there 6 days, 7 nights and we're staying at Port Orleans, Riverside and I know we are attending MNSSHP. Other than that, we are pretty much spontaneous about things. We've made some FastPass+ reservations and picked the big crowded rides and ordered our MagicBands. Looking so forward to MNSSHP and the Food and Wine Festival.

Welcome VelcroPooh, hope your hubby has booked Crystal Palace, it is a great place to meet Pooh and friends. We ate there last year and I wasn't at the table when Pooh came round so my DH asked if they would come back and they did! Your avatar is cool, I love the pumpkin and outfit.

Welcome! You're going to love POR - it's my favourite place to stay. There's nothing better than going to WDW as an adult - I'm sure you will have a ton of fun.

He's great. He knew the story of why I never got to go, and so when we were dating he promised that some day he would take me there. So about 6 months ago, he announced we were going this year! Bless his heart...he's such a sweetheart.

Halloween and Christmas are my favorite times of the year, so super stoked to see all the Halloween decorations.

Oh I am so excited about a bunch of things! But if I had to pick one, I really am so excited about MNSSHP. I really do love Halloween and when I was a child, I loved dressing up! I have not dressed up in years and went trick-or-treating. So as silly as that sounds, I think that will be the highlight of the trip for me.

Hubby has been before. Three times. Once as a child and in his "previous situation" (that's what we call our first marriages) he had been twice, taking his daughter. He's not been as an adult only.

Not silly at all! MNSSHP was our favorite part of our trip last Oct! You're going to have a blast!

What a GREAT time of year to go!!

Yes, Pooh is my favorite all time childhood friend. Hubby nicknamed me Pooh because I am always picking up and playing with anything Pooh.

The Velcro is a long story. Short version: I was married for 21 years the first time and it ended badly. While dating my now hubby, I was terrified of any type of relationship. He was fishing one night for how I felt about him, literally fishing for the "I Love You". I panicked and blurted out "I Velcro You!"

He was confused so I told him I was stuck on him. At our wedding, unbeknownst to us, at the end, the Minister pulled out two sides of Velcro with our names on them (he had heard the story) and had us stick them together saying "What God has put together, let no man pull apart".

So we always say "I Velcro You". So for me, the name translates to "Love Pooh".

Pooh, I am a newbie to this forum but a seasoned veteran of Walt Disney and absolutely hope you have the best vacation of your lifetime! Trip report is a must!!

I will do my best to do one when I get back. I'm a photo fanatic and we ordered the photo pass+ as well. One of mine and DHs rules are no electronics on vacation...Lol. We both spend hours on our phones, emails, iPads, etc for work, so we really try to leave it all behind on vacation. We will have our phones for the apps and emergencies, but no playing on computers...ha ha. I will try to remember the gist of our days, and post when we get back.

Welcome - Nothing wrong with being excited. As one of the Cast Members told me as I was making my reservations, Children at Disney World come in two categories, 3-9 and 10 and up!!

Also, the velcro story at the wedding teared me up. How wonderfully romantic!! Enjoy your trip!!
