Yet Another Hello

I'm glad I found this forum. Wife and I are Disney nuts, especially now that all the kids are out of the house. We live about an hour away from Disney World, which is just about perfect.

My fondest wish (not seconded by wife) is to retire and be a street sweeper in Magic Kingdom.

Welcome! Glad you found us and very jealous that you live so close to the mouse! Tell us some of your WDW favorites (i.e. ride, characters, restaurants, etc.)!

Oh wow, we like everything, or at least we haven't found anything we don't like yet.

Yes, close is nice. We have a night at the Wilderness Lodge this weekend (just because, picking up our annual pass renewals), a night at Bay Lake Tower in October when we go to MNSSHP, and a week at Grand Floridian in January.

Hi Monk and welcome. Street sweeping is in my retirement plan as well. Love the idea of staying active the the place I love so much.

Welcome and street sweeping also involves trash removal, most of the trash cans in MK have no bags. Just thought you'd like to know that little tid bit.

I grew up working in a vet clinic shoveling tons of cow and horse "presents". Trash doesn't bother me.

As for most things I want to do, not ALL of which are ill-considered, I can use all the help I can get.

Yes we are DVC. We finally worked up to enough points (we bought Grand Floridian to add to Animal Kingdom Lodge and Bay Lake Tower) to fund our every-two-year Disney cruise without banking or borrowing.

yay
