Hollywood Brown Derby vs. Artist Point

Under what circumstances would you recommend one of these over the other?

Artist point for the romance of the hotel and restaurant. Brown Derby for Fantasmic Dinner package and interaction with the streetmosphere actors in the restaurant. Both have great food.

Well, what are you in the mood for? Artist Point for the attention to detail regarding Pacific Northwest fare and wines. Beautiful setting. Brown Derby for the cobb salad (which I prettymuch only order there because it's not right anywhere else), the nostalgic setting that makes you think Bob Hope or Lucille Ball is about to walk in and be seated next to you. Also, Artist Point if you want to be away from the park hubbub. I don't think I would ever do Brown Derby for a "date night" But I totally would do - and have done - AP.

I haven't eaten at Artist Point but my recommendations for the Brown Derby are the Fantasmic Dinner Package and the grapefruit cake.

AP, that was the best meal that I have eaten at Disney so far.
