Whats your fav thing to do at Hollywood Studios? Food, ride, place to ppl watch? I cant decide if I like HS or animal kindom better.....
For me its the atmosphere. I love most of the rides there, but the feel of HS is just a lot of fun. To me it feels grownup... kinda like Epcot does as well.

Hey Carjust! Awesome video!! Gotta love the Muppets! One of my many favorite things to do at the Studios is eat at restaurants with awesome themeing like 50's Prime Time Cafe and Sci Fi Dine In Theater. I also love to catch the street performers, they are always entertaining. I also love to take a tour through 'Walt Disney One Man's Dream' and watch the film...gotta give repect to Walt!! After all without him there would be no Disney World!
Hell-oooooooo Rock 'n' Rollercoaster!
What Pego said! My favorite ride of all. Then ToT. Throw in that devilish red velvet cheesecake cupcake from Starring Rolls Cafe and I am golden....
I love RnRC, but I wish I didn't have to watch the video every time I go through there. I mean the video is like 3x longer than the ride!
Rock N Roller for me, but ask me again tomorrow and it may be ToT.
I can only please one person per day. Today isn't your day... tomorrow doesn't look good either.
Rock'n Roller Coaster with Toy Story coming up in a close second
I really just love walking around the park. Dinner at Brown Derby rates up there too though.
ToT is the TOP! I can and have ridden that multiple times in a row, just cant get enough. Now if they could put Everest & ToT next to each other, I'd be in heaven, get off one and get on the other and over and over and over again.

Cupcakes at Starring Rolls......mmmmmmm. Also Toy Story MidWay Mania is super fun along with ToT. I cannot wait to get back and try the new Star Tours! (nerd alert).

I'd get sick I think. ToT doesn't bother me at all but Everest gets to me after 2 rides or so.
wow I guess I'm the only one that doesnt really care for HS. It just doesnt feel Disney to me. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE ToT.. one of my fave rides there. We have the toy story ride here so I dont mind missing it (yes we have ToT too but WDWs is better). I dont really like RNRC so I'm ok missing that.. I dont care for the shows..
the only reason I go is for the food! (big shock I know) I LOVE Mama Melrose!
Also, it just seems so.. cementy to me. it needs more trees! more.. I dunno.
More DISNEY.
(yes we have ToT too but WDWs is better).
How is it different DD?
I'm with mr hub and Jeff C....can't get enough of ToT...
and of course food at Disney, in general, but gotta love the cupcakes at Starring Rolls..
I also love the carrot cake cookie sandwich at Writer's Stop... but be ready...it's a big one...
Highly recommend Writer's Stop for those DHS visitors!
It's kind of hidden and is always in that "overlooked" category, it seems....but they have a nice array of candy and good selection of desserts....don't forget that cup of joe there, too...after a meal !
I need to check out the Writer's Stop for sure!
I'm not a big fan of ToT or RNRC, but I do LOVE Star Tours, and I can't WAIT for the new one! I also love love eating lunch at the Brown Derby with my mom. And the Christmas lights are fun too. I think I remember Mitchejj mentioning somewhere that the lights were up and on for the Wine & Dine Half last year (but I can't find the info), so I'm really hoping that we get to run through DHS again this year, and that the Christmas lights are on. How cool would that be on a muggy Oct night??

I think the inside of the ride is a bit different, and the drop is a tad different. DD explained it to me once and I thought the drop would be nice because I guess you dont feel going into the drop part as you do at WDW... but ill let DD explain... lol

Last year we were at WDW for the last week of F&WF (1st week of Nov.) and the Osborne Family Lights show was going...I think they may have just began...but, at least last year, it was chilly in the evenings (upper 50's)...
My experiences have proven to be pleasant weather many more time than not during the last week of October at WDW...weather is a big reason why we choose to go this time of year....and all of the yummies at F&WF
Ditto to many of the other posts... ToT is the best! RNRC is certainly fun, but I think it loses its intensity a bit after the initial take off. Just my two cents.
My very favorite ride at Hollywood Studios is TOWER OF TERROR! In just 25 more days I'll be able to ride it again!

Very true! We often start to have that nicer, cooler weather in the evening toward the end of Oct. But Sept and early Oct...sometimes we Central Floridians are just begging for the cool weather to start!
Can't wait for the Wine&Dine Half Marathon, though. Regardless of what there is to see, I know it will be spectacular!

Me too! I started a thread about this when I first joined because the DFB did a write up about it..I have walked by it a million times but never gone in. However, my husband says that we have been there..insists upon it in fact..but I don't believe him.
For me..I really love HS. I know most people can be "ho hum" about it..but I love the vintage Hollywood feel. One of my favorite things to do is just explore all the little store fronts and alley's. The Singin' in the Rain Umbrella is a favorite of mine.
