Congratulations on getting married! Many couples on here have done intimate dining at the Grand Floridian where you can customize the menu for you and your spouse. Spa treatments could be a fun thing to do for the two of you. I have used the spa at Saratoga Springs and it was wonderful. Although they have changed since I went, I still think they are great. There are plenty of recreational things to do like parasailing and renting bikes that you guys can do. Don't forget to do the rides that may seem childish to you because you'll never know what you may enjoy or what memories would come back.

Welcome, Jackie! welcome

If it's in your budget, definitely stay on property at a moderate or above. I would recommend Port Orleans Riverside if you choose a moderate and request to stay in Magnolia Bend. They do a lovely carriage ride around the property and the grounds are beautiful. Their dinning is considered by most to be the best of the moderates and PORS and its sister resort Port Orleans French Quarter are the only moderates to boast boat transportation (it goes to Downtown Disney). This is the first resort we ever stayed at on property and it is still my favorite for overall experience. I believe that Fort Wilderness does this also, but it might be seasonal?

The first thing that jumped into my head was also the intimate dining at Grand Floridian. Get pictures with each others favorite characters and plan something funny to do with them or say to them (within reason of course!). Take a ride on Characters in Flight (giant helium ballon--weather permitting) at Downtown Disney. We really like Peter Pan's Flight (get a fast pass) for a couples activity because there is no chance that another family will be put with us in our car and flying over London in a pirate ship can be very romantic. We have a new plan to make this our "bookend ride"--the first ride we do on the first day and the last ride we do on the last day--for future trips. Maybe choose a bookend ride of your own. If you think you'll make more trips, try to establish a fun or silly thing that you do every time or I've seen some people take a picture that you can replicate on every visit. Watch Wishes or llumiNations from somewhere other than in the middle of the crowd--book a reservation with fireworks seating or watch from one of the nearby resorts (especially Wishes). We like to watch from the beach at the Polynesian because the broadcast the soundtrack on the beach as well and you can get a self-serve dole whip and Captain Cooks. Or do a boat rental on Seven Seas Lagoon.

There are so many wonderful couple-y things to do together, but pretty much all of the things that are fun as a family are fun as an adult, too--maybe even more so!!

I would say try and get a reservation for early AM Cinderella's royal table.
Firstly the characters are always great if they know you are on honeymoon and also it allows you to get an uninterrupted castle picture on the way to your reservation awesome

oh great idea, Mrferret! That reminds me of another way to get great unobstructed pics at MK. Book the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. It's available to ages 16+ only and if you have any interest in backstage areas or Disney history, this tour is fantastic! If you book a 9:15am tour, you can get into the park for the tour at like 8:30 and you can access all of main street (no shops open), the hub area, and the rose garden. We had a wonderful time walking around a mostly empty Magic Kingdom and watching rope drop from inside the park! very cool!!

stars Hello and congrats ! stars

I think that a Disneymoon sounds like a great way to start off your life together.

There are lots of romantic things to do at Walt Disney World. My husband and I are always sure to plan at least one special dinner at one of Disney's fine dining restaurants. I'm partial to the California Grill, but we had a delightful anniversary dinner at Yachtmans Steakhouse too. We always take it a little slower without the kids, fewer rides, more drinking, dining, and shopping. Hitting the hot tub late at night, sleeping in in the mornings and ordering room service.

La Nouba could be a fun special activity, or signing up to go on a walking tour or renting a boat on Bay Lake. Maybe doing the dessert party at the Magic Kingdom.

My husband and I honeymooned in Disney in March of 2009. We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. We found it very quaint and romantic and loved that it only has one bus stop (meaning you get to the parks a little bit quicker). For our special honeymoon activity, we booked a steam train tour (my husband is a huge train buff) and dinner atop the Contemporary at the California Grill. After dinner we enjoyed the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the California Grill's observation deck. It was super cool and romantic!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

Since it's a honeymoon, I guess you want romantic stuff.

A room with a view and a Jacuzzi Tub- IMO the best views are the Boardwalk View Rooms. It also gives you easy access to the Boardwalk restaurants and bars. And a quick hop to Epcot and DHS.

IMO Narcoosee's is the most romantic restaurant and with a view of MK fireworks.

I don't encourage the private dining at GF because if it rains, it is not the same experience and it is mad expensive to be sitting in a hallway of the GF eating.

But dining in your room can be pretty romantic.

Also have a private photo-session with a Disney photographer. In connection with that, have you considered "trash the dress" at a waterpark.

Have your room decorated by the Pixies at Gifts of a Lifetime. You can have candles, bubble baths, oils, candies, flowers, champagne, wine, Bride and Groom Ears, pins, etc. in you room before you get there.

And don't forget to join the monorail club.

We're planning on doing the KTTKT this next trip so that's a great tip! I didn't realize you could get in so early before the tour!
