How do you display your Disney Souvenirs?

I've seen many of your creative ways to display your pins, but I was wondering how you display your other souvenirs?

After only 4 trips, I'm running out of room to put things! Any tips on ways to display them without them taking up too much space or looking cluttered?

I used to keep all my Disney stuff in boxes and then rotate a small collection a few times during the year.

Then I decided that was totally unacceptable and now have a whole room devoted to all my Disney stuffs. I'm working on a proposal to Management (Joe) to knock out the wall between the Disney room and the other spare bedroom to increase the space.....

I don't have much Disney stuff..I am such a weird Disney fan. I love the movies, the parks etc. but I don't really dig the stuff..I'm a weirdo. I guess I've just always had a hard time making it look classy instead of kitschy. The pins boards and the rooms I have seen here have all be so gorgeous I wish I had that kind of display talent.

I don't buy a lot of suveniers for myself on any vacation. I usually will buy a magnet and a shot glass for my collections.

My favourite souvenirs are practical. Serving bowls, wine charms, mugs etc. They get used frequently but stay in the cupboard

The only other thing id like to display would be our mouse ears. Other than that... pins are really the only we we display in our place.

Bella, if you're a weirdo so am I. I usually just end up with a t-shirt or sweatshirt or something. I'm not good at the knick knack stuff. However, also like you, I do think its cool how some folks really have fun decorating with Disney.

I'm also not big into souvenirs. Would much rather save my money to go on another trip to DW.

ZapperZ has a great thread where he shows his Disney room off. I'll see if it can find it, but it looks GREAT.

Wow, ZapperZ really goes all out with the pins! I am a proud owner of 2 pins. I think I have a ways to go!

@JeffC: Wow! Tearing down a wall to better display Disney paraphernalia? That's dedication. I did notice that you had some nice shelves/tables to display items on in your christmas decor pics. That seems like a good way to do it.

@ the people that don't collect many souvenirs: I am also one of those people that don't buy "knick-knacks". I despise dusting! I have a 2 coffee mugs, 2 pins, 3 christmas ornaments, 7 pieces of artwork - framed and hung on the walls, one statue of mickey and minnie in wedding garb, 3 novelty picture frames, and 6 refillable resort mugs.

After 3 trips that's not much, is it? I don't own many shelves, end tables, curio cabinets, etc. so I wasn't sure where to put some of the stuff. JeffC's house looked beautiful and uncluttered so I may have to steal some display ideas from him! Thanks JeffC! awesome

Last time we went, Jess and I went in to that Disney Art place in Epcot. Boy did I wish we had money. If we ever end up getting stuff to actually display like figurines, statues or 3d art (Dont know any other way to describe the stuff there) then ill probably get a China Cabinet of some sort.

we have our ears on a shelf in the kitchen. other than that we didn't get many souvenirs. Just a "first christmas" ornament and some tshirts.

I'm not in to knick-knacks, but, I do buy Christmas Tree ornaments. They are easy to store and they make decorating the tree alot of fun. Looking at the ornaments brings back happy vacation memories. My collection of ornaments just keeps growing. yay

Yes, I do think christmas ornaments are a great way to get souvenirs. You can always fit more on the tree!

Mind you, I have a Festive Garland hung on the wall with my ornaments instead of a Christmas Tree since my cats love to eat evergreens - fake or real!
