How "dressed up" do you get?

When you're headed to signature restaurants, La Nouba, or other "dress code" stuff in WDW, how dressed up do you get? I know I've seen lots of people in jeans and t-shirts at signature restaurants, but I've also seen people in what look like gowns ready for the theater premier!

Just wondering what end of the spectrum WDWFG-ers fall on... mickey

I usually wear pants, (No make that I always wear pants laugh ) that are dressier than jeans and a collared pullover shirt that usually has the obligatory Corvette or race team emblem embroided on the front. Wife wears dress slacks and blouse and sometimes a shirt that matches mine, we have many that match for Vette shows and the like and they are fairly dressy.

We do not dress up. I am always amazed when I see women walking around with heels on. I would not last a half a day walking around in them. To me dressing up is not wearing my flip flops. The most dressed up we get is nicer shorts and button shirts. Neither one of us hardly ever wear long pants when we are down there.

Depends on where I'm coming from. If I am going to dinner straight from the parks, well then I'll be casual. In Nov. we'll be going to Fulton's from MK (and then back to MK) so flip flops it will be. We'll also be going to Paris in Epcot after being in the park all day. I'll probably wear a comfy casual skirt and t or tank, maybe dress it up with a fun necklace or something.

Two of the nights I'll be heading back to my room before dinner (Il Mulino and Yachtsmen), so I'll dress it up a bit, maybe a comfortable kitten heel for dinner and Boardwalk fun Smile

I like to dress up a bit, so always bring a couple of casual dresses with me and some strappy sandals with heels.

We NEVER go straight to a 'spensive dinner from the parks since we're usually too gross after walking around in the sun all day, so we have time to get home, relax, and change clothes before heading to dinner.

Jan needs a giant size suitcase. Me...I can fit all my cloths in a food store bag.
Every morning clean underwear, clean socks, clean shirt( usually a collard tee) clean shorts or jeans. Lasts til I go to bed. Oh! And always my SUB VET hat.

When it's hot I usually bring some very loose, comfortable clothes to stay cool. If that's what I've been wearing all day I definitely change. If my shirt has a collar though I'm pretty much good to go anywhere as far as I'm concerned. biggrin

"Dressed up" and "Florida" don't normally occur in the same sentence for us, although I have been known to change from shorts to jeans for the evening if temperatures get cool.

@Vettelover -- Good to know you always wear pants!

@Subvetss -- You're one step ahead of me with the clean shorts/trousers everyday. I'm afraid I stick with just a few pairs of shorts that rotate through the week!

As for dressing up, we clean up pretty good for the pricier meals. They're "date nights" for us, so we like to "dazzle" as DW says.

I always feel like any restaurant that's in a park should pretty much expect me to come as I am. Getting dressed up and getting to a park is a pretty big hassle. We don't get dressed up too much anyway, but if the restaurants in my resort, I might put on something a little nicer. If you have a light collared shirt and khaki shorts you can wear that to just about anything except the nicest restaurants (and people do it there too).

I think that's more and more becoming the norm.

If we go to a fancy dining place (which we have only done..like once) Dave would wear khaki pants and a polo and I would wear a skirt & a cute shirt...I'm a flip flop girl though so unless it's January you can count on me wearing that.

Girls can get away with wearing their sandals/flip flops in nice places more easily than guys. I don't wear them much, so it's not much of a big deal for me though. Plus my feet are pretty grisly, so I like to keep them covered up in the public interest.
