How many trips are you counting down towards?

So, I've been counting down to our trip for ages, and I suddenly realised I had nothing to plan for when I get back. I spoke to DH and he agreed we can look towards going back to Paris/DLP for our wedding anniversary in April, which is awesome. We're thinking of staying off-property in the Dream Castle Hotel, which looks magical!

And we're also going to start saving for a potential five year unofficial vow renewal at our dream resort - Animal Kingdom Lodge - in 2018. Staying Deluxe is a total luxury for us that we can't normally afford which is why we've set this as a five year wedding anniversary treat.

Once I get back from our POR trip, I will probably start thinking if there's a way we can squeeze in another bargain trip between 2015 and 2018 (I will find a way). We've had a chat about the Big Meet Up and have come to a rather sad consensus that we might just not have the money to do it next year because it took us so long to save up for this trip.
Sad

But I am staying positive - by the time we get back from DLP, that'll be three Disney trips in a row for us! I seriously never thought we'd manage that. It's much cheaper for us to get to Paris than Orlando so we will be using DLP as a mickey fix quite often I suspect.

I now have three countdowns in my signature, one of which is YEARS away. laugh I just love planning trips.

How many trips are you planning towards? Any unofficial/potential trips in the pipeline? mickey

Oooh if you're gonna go in April to DLP, if you go on the 16th then that's when the dapper day is! I could totally see you both dressed up in dapper gear! You'd look amazeballs

We have 3 trips to wdw within the year planned yay this November, next April and then the big meet up! I would love to go to the DLP dapper day too but I dunno if I can swing that as well laugh

The vow renewal sounds amazing! It's always good to have something to plan for and if you can pull off another trip in between then that will be awesome.

Hehe Dapper Day is totally our plan! Our wedding anniversary is the 13th, so the 16th fits in around then. Laughing out loud

Vow renewal is definitely the big dream trip. Gives us loads of time to save for all the stuff we wouldn't normally do - like Deluxe hotel, fancy meal etc. yay

I kinda like alternating between DLP and WDW because we love them both for different reasons. At some point we're also hoping to get to California, Tokyo etc.

I potentially have up to three trips to look forward in the 2015-16 calendar years. Our first WDDW trip is the Adults Only Food & Wine festival trip coming up in 24 days (05-10 November 2015). The next will be our annual family Mardi Gras trip, which is very early in 2016 (06-15 Feb. 2016). Lastly, will be a potential mid May 2016 trip since I am going on a 6 week overseas business trip in mid to end May, and also our Annual passes expire on 01 June 2016, which we may not renew next year.. confused

So THREE WDW TRIPS IN THE COMING 9 MONTHS... clapping yeah stars

Right now I have my really short (2 night) trip in December for MVMCP as well as the big meet-up in a year. However, the big meet-up will mark the beginning of our next year with annual passes, so we will surely have more trips planned before the meet-up even begins.

We always have at least 2 on the docket and we never are able to go more then once a year so we normally are planned a couple of years out, too. awesome

Right now I have two scheduled - Disneyland in January and the big meet up in October.

I have two more on deck - one in December 2016, just waiting for the dates. My nieces high school band will be in WDW next year. Being the good aunt that I am, I'm making the ultimate sacrifice to go down to cheer them on. lol

I am planning on getting an annual pass next year for the two trips, so I'm going to make one more trip with it in 2017.

I've got January 2016, staying offsite. My parents rent a house for the month so we're going for about 10 days.

February 2016 for a long weekend to do the Glass Slipper Challenge awesome

October 2016 for the meet up

January 2017 staying with my parents again and MAYBE attempting the full marathon eek

and hopefully fall 2017. Might try Disneyland this time but who knows

Yeah, we're kind of in the same boat as you guys. Because of the cost of flights from the UK, we can only really afford to do WDW every 1-2 years. But we can manage DLP in between times to pass the time between trips as it's much cheaper for us. This year was a special year as we managed to make a bit more money and so did DLP, and are doing WDW in the same year. Hoping to be back at DLP in April, but might take the Summer/Autumn off from Disney if we can stand it and maybe do somewhere else more affordable. Was hoping to do meet up but having looked at finances, I think we'd get a lot more for our money doing for example a week in Vegas, or a European holiday. Sad

Also have a bit of an ulterior motive in that I want to do the west coast, particularly Vegas, so we might do this and save a bit of money, or just do a European city depending on finances.

Sigh...so jealous of all you good people. I only get to go to WDW every 7 years. My next trip won't be until 2021 so it's not even in the planning stages yet. In the meantime, I thoroughly enjoy reading about everyone else's plans.

Thanksgiving trip in 42 days

Then the Princess 5k in February

and the Star Wars cruise in April.

I am of course adding in the October meet up but since I am on Disney Planning restriction, that won't be brought up again until the beginning of the year... wink

I'm about to kick off a new Annual Pass and I lucked out that this year I have a gymnastics meet AND a real estate conference at WDW!!

So even though I only have three trips planned that are 100% leisure, I've got 5 countdowns!! One for November, Gymnastics meet in February, Real Estate conference in March, Star Wars Weekend with our nephew in May, and the Big Meet-Up (hopefully including cruise) in October.

Of course our future plans are always very dependent on my sales, but we're hoping that 2017 will be a longer DCL trip...HOPEFULLY Alaska or Northern Europe. crossfingers I'm dying to do an ABD trip, but unfortunately there are some house renovations that are in line before that one.
