Is that the one from Gaston's?
Had one a couple of weeks ago (OK, two of us split one). I wouldn't make a special trip for it, but for an impulse buy while we were in the neighborhood, it wasn't bad.
And Kristen, it's from Kusafiri at AK.
Had one similar at the OLD Main Street Bakery but it was more fluffy and light. It was HUGE and the frosting alone will push your insulin levels to new heights. That being said....Yes, officer I ate it...only one because I wanted to try it and no I didnt' share it because they had their own.
No, I won't do that again because I was shaking like a leaf about an hour later as my body tried to cope with that much sugar in one consumption. I did it and got the tshirt so on to next lovely....with possibly less sugar high....

Sob..Sob...I still miss the one and only from Main Street bakery...Ive read that Gaston's is similar but not as good...I also believe that there's one in offer at WL...Now I'am on a mission...
Umm...what about the one at Boardwalk Bakery? I know we are going to try this but has anyone else had one of these? And is it work going to get one?

No way. No...freaking...way. But it does look delicious.
Doesn't have enough icing for me.
I have to agree, it doesn't look like enough for me!
I wouldn't go out of my way for the one at Gaston's. We shared one and it was a bit too sweet and dry for my tastes. That picture looks good on the other hand.
We've stayed at:
Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge, Beach/Yacht Club, Old Key West Resort, Port Orleans (Riverside & French Quarter), Coronado Springs, Boardwalk Inn, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, All Star (Music & Sports).
As much as I would like to try it I would be deathly ill within 30 minutes of eating that monstrosity. I will leave it to others to devour.
The bakery at AK has a pecan roll that is to die for......the sugar levels are about the same, just in another form.

I didn't get one at Gaston's because it looked dry to me. Instead I stuck my mitts in a big ole juicy, delicious pork shank and left the sugar stop for later on Main Street.
