I would like comments regarding Blue Bayou. I think I will be going to CA in June and a trip to DL will be worked in. I would like to celebrate my oldest DDs 13th bday at Blue Bayou, but curious if it is worth the money.

Believe it or not we actually dined there this evening and it was great, a little on the pricey side but delicious. Well worth it.

I find the food at Blue Bayou good and the atmosphere just can't be beat. It's truly magical. Service for me has been spotty over the years. Sometimes it's been fantastic, sometimes I've felt completely ignored. My suggestion is to go, but to make your reservation on an "off" time, not in the middle of the lunch or dinner rush.

Thanks for the feedback. I am thinking maybe doing it after the lunch or dinner rush and maybe just getting dessert. I guess they will let you do that. I am still thinking, but I think I should probably go ahead and call and make a reservation now.
