Okay, we have all read about the new champagne and dessert party at Epcot a few nights a week with a hefty price tag. (We do Wishes because it's about half the price). A friend that I sing with is leaving tomorrow with hubby (annual pass holders so they try EVERYTHING at least once), BUT this is one they are passing on.
She said she called to see if there were any openings for one of their nights, and apparently there were a lot of openings. Not only is is $59 per person, it is STANDING PARTY ONLY. There is no seating at this event, for the eating or the viewing! What!?!?! If I am going to "enjoy" bubbly for a few hours and then watch the fireworks, I want something to at least lean on.
She said she asked TWICE for the CM to clarify if they go to a "roped off place to sit and watch" and the answer both times was NO. So she called back and talked to another CM and got the same answer. This couple are 20 yr annual pass holders and they aren't doing this! 
We will stick with Wishes and sit! My DH says $22 for the seat is worth it to him (he's not fooling me....they have chocolate!)
