When you first enter MK, what is the first thing that you get excited about? I love walking down Main Street USA. All my worries/anxieties of the outside world just vanish instantly!

Seeing that magnificent castle!
I love looking at all of the details on the shops on main street. The castle is the obvious one too (:

The memories of past trips for sure.
Walking down Main street and remembering the places we have sat on the curb for parades.
The memory of grand-daughter sitting on shoulders as we stood in front of train station and watched the fireworks explode over the castle.
The memory of a final nights character dinner at Tony's Town Square where the kids were so overwhelmed that they couldn't contain the tears, then after dinner walking out on main street after the park had cleared, looking up Main Street with no one on it yet the castle still lit.
Oh the memories, they come flooding back walking up Main street everytime.
Yep nothing quite like it.
Main Street and the Castle! Each time I have stepped into the Magic Kingdom, I can't help but just stop and look at the castle, and then at all of the happy people and awesome shops down Main Street!
Because I'm always at the front of the line for rope drop, I'm always thinking about how peaceful it is and how many people from all over the worldwill be in the same place I am in a matter of hours. I think about how incredibly lucky to be at the World and how fortunate I am. I think abouttall of the little things. Obscure things, but powerful obscure things. Walking into the park is a feeling you can get in a few other places, especially in the morning when there are few others there.

Whenever I get into the MK I can not wait to get to Adventureland! It's the first place I head no matter at MK or DL.
I have to go with Mike. As I am walking down Main street towards the castle all my memories come rushing back. The fun, the joy, the rides. I just love MK. I get all teary eyed when I see the castle.
That first glimpse of the castle gets me everytime! The smells and sounds on Main Street just transform me into a kid again. All the stress and everyday worries just disappear. There is nothing like it in the world!

I get excited because I'm at Magic Kingdom. ALL of it is awesome.
I love choosing the adventure that day will hold. My mind is filled with thoughts of how could this ever get old. It certainly hasn't yet.
J as a local also, I agree with you, it never gets old and we still find things we didn't know were there or hadn't seen before. I think we have done every ride and attraction at one time or another, but they change things up and keep things new. Our family and friends don't understand how we can possibly go to Disney almost every weekend and not get bored. It's hard to explain and they wouldn't understand anyway.

Going to the spot where my sweetheart proposed and reliving the moment in my head. Gets me every time.

I love driving under the welcome sign, seeing the "let the memories begin" sign, seeing the castle for the first time and walking down Main Street. Oh and going into all the shops of course! The whole build up to it is amazing even seeing road signs to Disneyworld and I get excited!
seeing the Castle.

Seeing the castle! Although it never changes (thank goodness) it's always my favorite site in the parks! Then heading down to hit some shops and ride some rides.

Agree 100%! Just walking under the train station and taking it all in is enough to bring tears to my eyes.
I'm usually thinking about Peter Pan's Flight because it's usually rope drop and that's almost always my first stop
Be good at something. It makes you valuable. Have something to bring to the table because that will make you more welcome. --Randy Pausch

Seeing sights..Hearing laughter...Sniffing the air and smelling Pixie Dust...And giving my Princess a kiss at the castle..That's my DW by the way..
The castle, the first ride of the day (Which varies. It was Peter Pan's Flight because of the wait times but last trip, it was Under the Sea because I knew New Fantasyland would bring in crowds later on.), heading into Adventureland and riding Jungle Cruise and Pirates and meeting characters.
"All my life I wonder how it feels to pass a day, not above them but part of them.
And out there living in the sun, give me one day out there, all I ask is one to hold forever. Out there where they all live unaware, what I'd give, what I'd dare, just to live one day out there."
DH says it's Main Street with the smells of the bakery wafting down to greet us.
But he has to wait a bit, because I stand on the center with the flag in the middle and just look at the castle. I call it my "castle fix" but even views from a far, while appreciated, isn't quite the same.
As we leave MK for the last time on that trip, I stand in the same place (usually illuminated) and sigh.
So between trips, the castle is my wallpaper on the computer, the tablet, and the phone. As I said, it's my fix.

Everything, just everything. My wife and I have been going for over twenty years. We have gone for three weeks a year the past several years now. Just got back 18 days ago. Going again in June. Seeing the opening and walking through the tunnel is a great feeling.
For me my first visit to the MK each trip is where the trip really starts
I get really excited on the bus ride over from the resort bounce around like a kid, nudging my DH as we round each corner. I beam from ear to ear as we go through the bag check and the turnstile.
As we first step onto Main Street the weigh of the world falls away and I'm home :')
