I haven't been able to get on here in a while but I'm back with great news!! I'm getting married!! I never thought this would happen to me. I'm so thankful to God for sending me such a blessing. It was so special and I wanted to tell you guys how it happened. Ryan and I have known each other our whole lives. We went to school together since kindergarten and we graduated together. He was my 2nd & 3rd Grade boyfriend and elementary school love lol We lost touch over the years and reconnected last year through facebook. I knew I loved him since our 2nd date! Okay on to the proposal. I may or may not have mentioned to him that I would love to be proposed to in front of Cinderella's castle and he knows how much I love Disney. So here is how it happened. Ryan's Birthday is Feb 22 so his mom asked me to help her plan a surprise birthday party for him on Feb 15. She told me that she rented a hall and took care of her side of the family but I needed to take care of mine. She gave me invitations to hand out and everything. Meanwhile Ryan was planning a huge surprise for me. He went to New Orleans and picked out a gorgeous ring!! He met with my parents to show them the ring and ask them for my hand in marriage. On Feb 15 I couldn't wait to get off of work so we could go to his surprise party. I told Ryan that my cousin was turning 40 so his wife was throwing him a big party and that is where we were going. When we got there everyone yelled "surprise" and I looked at him and he reached his hand out for mine and at that point I was like wait...why aren't you shocked? The tables and chairs split the room creating an aisle and at the end of it was an arch. He took my hand and led me down the aisle. Everyone was taking pictures and I just kept asking him what was going on. When we made it to the front we stopped right in front of a really big picture frame that was covered with a sheet. He started telling me how much he loved me and I just busted out crying because I knew what he was about to do. I realized "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" was playing. He turned to the picture and ripped the sheet off and I started crying even more. It was a huge picture of Cinderella's castle that he had custom framed. The frame was sitting on an easel with a ring box sitting next to it.I was getting my proposal infront of the castle. He grabbed the box dropped on one knee and said a whole bunch of super sweet things that just kept my tears flowing. I said yes of course and everyone in the room started cheering. Once I was able to dry up the tears I took a look at the ring and oh my I fell in love with it!! I looked around the room and saw all of my closest family and friends, my co-workers, and all of his family. It was such a special moment and I'm so glad we were able to share it with our family and friends. Once I had a chance to breathe I starting noticing all of the little details. There was a cake table with Cinderella's Castle and carriage...and of course a cake with the outline of Cinderella and her Prince dancing. The arch was decorated with purple fabric, wedding bells, and super sized diamond rings. There were princess balloons and other cute stuff on every table. Tons of good food, music, and great people. A night to remember for sure. I'm so excited and I just had to tell you guys.
