It's almost time for Starbucks on Main Street!

Last week Disney Food Blog reported that the Starbucks signage was up on Main Street!

http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2013/05/24/news-starbucks-signage-up-in-disney-worlds-magic-kingdom/

I'm tickled pink about the possibility of a great cup of coffee I didn't have to brew myself while in Disney. My fingers are crossed that they'll be open this weekend, but I don think I'm going to hold my breath. The official Disney refurbishment schedule says that the Main Street Bakery, now with Starbucks will open back up on June 18, 2013!

Are you looking forward to it?

Yes I am yay I suppose that i haven't visited MSB often enough for me to worry about any changes. The only thing i'm worried about is will it make the lines longer? Good coffee does take time to make and in a high traffic area and I can imagine the lines may be out the door!

Nope! I don't like Starbucks coffee!

We are not a big fan either, other then a Grande Caramel Macchiato or a Caramel Frappuccino. Their regular coffee is out, but the new blonde is not bad, we have that for our Keurig.

We're frappuccino junkies (is it bad when everyone at Starbucks knows your name and starts making your drinks as soon as you enter the door?), but we also look forward to the frozen cappuccino drinks we an find at Epcot and a few other places at WDW. I think we're looking forward to it!!

Nope! Not at all... at least that's what I tell myself. My roommate and I are never in our Starbucks at the same time, but he can go in and order my drink without saying it's for me, and they'll write "Kristen" on the cup. laugh

I love the mocha caramel drink and I am sure that I will be getting one when I am there.

I've never bought a cup of coffee at any theme park, and the addition of Starbucks at WDW won't change that any more than the addition of Dunkin Donuts at Hersheypark has. I do drink coffee, but just ordinary decaf (regular gives me the jitters) and only in the morning (even decaf will keep me awake if I drink it too late in the day) with some milk and Splenda. Starbuck's really isn't worth the premium price for me.

Also, I refuse to use their cutesy lingo. I want a small decaf, please.

- I love this!

I don't much care for Starbucks either. In our area we have Caribou Coffee and I prefer their brews. However, I may cave for a cup of SB with my morning treat while at MK! Smile

i'm not a coffee drinker so it won't affect me, but my DW will be very happy.

Not excited here either waiting and I prefer to order my coffee in my native language so that I know what in the blue blazes I just ordered confused. Now if DunkinDonuts were to come in I would be all over that.

I will be ordering the blonde brew when I am there. My stomach or I should say my ulcer can't handle the dark brews.

awesome

I've noticed as I've gotten older I don't care for Starbucks coffee like I used to. I would prefer Dunkin's coffee.

I'm sure we will get something there when we are there in November. Wonder if you will be able to use snack credits there?

Meh, I prefer my iced coffees from McDonald's so I'd just rather drive to the Mickey D's across from the Boardwalk for that. Though this will be a nice caffeine alternative to my normal in-park Coke Zero. silly

I'm not excited at all. In fact I'm disappointed by it. I live in the Seattle area where Starbucks & other espresso/coffee shops/stands are seemingly on almost every corner. Combine that with not being much of a coffee drinker & when I do drink coffee I don't really like Starbucks & I was quite happy to go to DW & not have Starbucks & other espresso/coffee shops/stands having any kind of presence. I actually hate the Starbucks logo & hate that I'm going to have to be looking at when I'm at DW.

They're using the original version of the logo (the 15th century woodcut siren on a brown background) so it's not terribly obtrusive when walking down Main Street. I felt that you really needed to be looking for it to see it. I was really hoping to catch a soft opening while I was there last week, but no such luck.

I am personally pumped about Starbucks at Disney. Especially for my Spring and Thanksgiving trips....yum. I found myself looking for coffee a lot last November...it was chilly! Smile

I don't drink a lot of coffee but won't use Starbucks as they charge extra for soy milk where as the other UK coffee shop (costa) do it for free. I just cannot drink a lot of "regular" milk without being Ill.
