JoAnn's Pre-Trip Report

I made a slight change in plans. I'm going to Disney a day early. clapping

When I went to book my flight, it had gone up $90. So I looked at flights on Thursday. I found one leaving a little later but at the same price I originally found for Friday. I was able to get the extra day off of work. My plan was to get a room only reservation for Art of Animation for Thursday night and check in at Pop Friday morning. I had to go to AAA to make a payment and give the agent my flight information for Magical Express. I asked her to book the room for Thursday night at AoA. The only rooms available were the suites. sad She called Disney reservations and there were no standard rooms available to book. I booked a room only reservation at Pop for Thursday night. I'll get in to MCO at 2:15. After I check in, I'm going to explore AoA and have dinner there. Afterwards, I'm just going to relax. Friday morning I'll be able to get to Epcot when they open. If I didn't get in until Friday morning, I wouldn't have gotten there until around 1:00.

I'll be paying for dinner Thursday night out of pocket and possibly breakfast Friday morning. I'm trying to decide if I want to use a dining credit for breakfast on Friday after I re-check in for my package. If I do that I'll have to cancel my ADR at Yachtman's Steakhouse and book a one credit restaurant for dinner. After doing the math, my extra day at Disney is going to cost me no more than $50.

Thursday - dinner @ Art of Animation
Friday - breakfast @ Pop, lunch @ F & W Festival and dinner @ Whispering Canyon
Saturday - breakfast @ Cape May Cafe, lunch @ F & W Festival and dinner @ Tony's
Sunday - breakfast @ Cinderella's Royal Table and dinner @ 50's Prime Time
Monday - breakfast @ Pop, lunch @ Liberty Tree Tavern and dinner @ Yachtman's Steakhouse
Tuesday - breakfast @ Pop, lunch @ Tusker House and dinner @ Rose & Crown
Wednesday - breakfast @ Pop, lunch @ Les Chefs de France and dinner @ Sanaa
Thursday - breakfast @ 1900 Park Fair, lunch @ Sci-Fi and dinner will be QS
Friday - breakfast @ Pop and lunch @ Via Napoli

Not bad! When are you going?

I am jealous of sanaa! We were going to go but a large party booked for a special even and mentioned seafood so with my allergy, the CM talked me out of it and we are going to Boma the night after instead and Via Napoli that night.

Awesome!

Dinner at the AoA looks reasonably priced and Breakfast at the Pop won't be that expensive to pay OOP. I'd say pay for it and keep the meal plan credit(Drunk for the more expensive restaurants on your list. I love your ADRs so yummy!

What month are you going to the F&W fest? An extra day for $50 is fantastic...great job planning Smile
