Announced at D23 yesterday the Jungle Cruise Skipper Canteen is official! Plus --- drumroll ---it will have a formerly secret room that was used by the Society for Explorers and Adventurers! I can't wait to see what they're bringing over from the old club.

Great news! MK could really use these extra dining places, especially during peak season, and a themed restaurant just adds to the fun 
I hope they'll have a few exotic dishes on the menu 
So excited!!! Maybe it will be open by the time we get there in November. 
ALL of the news coming out today has me ready to plan plan plan more trips!!!!!!!!!! And the new Soarin just popped up in my facebook feed!!!!!!!!

I'm glad Adventureland now has a stand out restaurant. I know there's Tortuga Tavern but that's only open seasonally and pretty average from what I've heard. I think this one will stand out for the better.

Loving this announcement! I don't follow the food stories too much, so this was a surprise to me. I love the Jungle Cruise Skippers and having them staff the restaurant is brilliant.

I have a fast pass for Jungle Cruise in a couple of weeks. It will be the first time 
I've ridden it.... I think it will get me more excited for the restaurant!

I love, love, love the Jungle Cruise, so the idea of this restaurant has made my week!

from the popularity of the JC that I see so often, I think they have to make it awesome to live up to the expectations of all the guests. Hopefully they do!
