Your Favourite Flatbread At Disney..

Last year I asked a question on here what was the difference between Pizza & Flatbread..So last year I tried my first Flatbread and to be honest, it fell flat of my expectations..However with a new chef at the helm at Artist Point, he's also doing his magic for the Territory Lounge and this Flatbread looks awesome ( see photo ) I thought the one at Roaring Forks last year was pretty poor, however next year I'll be giving this one some attention...Where in Disney have you had your favourite Flatbread.?

My favorite flatbreads are served at the California Grill. They could easily be a meal even though they are listed as starters. I honestly do not think you can compare the flatbreads served in the Signature restaurants to those served at counter service places.

I don't have a favorite. If I want flat dough with toppings, I want pizza. REAL pizza.

I agree with this normally, but I have never been able to find a good slice outside NJ/NY area. Maybe I am just a pizza snob wink

I've had a couple of fantastic flatbreads at the California Grill.

I'm also really fond of this one from Artist Palate at SSR.

LOL! I know New York is supposed to have the best pizza in the USA. But have you tried Via Napoli yet? That is some GOOD pizza.

Unless, of course, you're from Chicagoland.

I still swear by the Giordano's in Orlando. They deliver to the resorts and there is one quite close to the parks if you want to venture out of the bubble. I do get to have some in 55 days so I am over excited about it!!!!

I suggest you all give it a try!

I recommend this bad boy..The 1/2 metre long Mezzo Metro..You can ask for it half & half..We opted for one end to be pepperoni and mushroom and the other end jalapeno peppers, chillies, & salami..

That looks awesome!! Unfortunately, we won't have a teenage boy with us to help us eat it. Do they offer a 1/4 metre long Mezzo Metro? laugh

I LOVE Giordano's - Stuffed pizza with bacon and onions, that yummy spicy sauce, and I'm in heaven.

The Cheeseburger Flatbread

This looks so delicious!! We're staying at SSR in November and planning to do a few "pool days" (what is this concept? I'm not familiar with it. I hope I can manage to relax and enjoy those days and not feel my AP burning a hole in my pocket!). I think I just found my lunch!

Also, sign me up for the Chicago deep dish pizza club. It's like a slice of heaven on a plate. yeah

Back to your original question, Mr. Watchmaker. I love the Caprese flatbread at Pinocchio's Village Haus. Tomato + Mozzarella + Balsamic = YUM! It's downfall is that PVH provides it's diners with improper utensils for eating flatbreads. I've sent many a plastic fork the way of the dodo before giving up and just folding the think in half and making a sandwich.

I'm a huge pizza lover, but the only 'flat bread' I've had was the cheeseburger flatbread in SSR. I was a bit sceptical about it at first, but really tasty. Might even try it again this trip.

This fellow New Jerseyan politely disagrees. wink Every NJ town you can think of has a stand out pizza place. Just goes to show you don't need to be in the city to experience great pizza. I have a local favorite a few blocks from the train station and it's only a 5 minute drive from my home.

In Florida, I've also heard that Flippers Pizza is a pretty good pizza place. I haven't had much experience with flatbread myself so I can't really judge how they taste.

We have had Flippers Pizza a few times and it is delicious. Well worth the trip to the Crossroads mall.
