So our first ADR for our stay is the Kona Cafe. I read some good reviews on line, but would love to hear from the experts (the amazingly nice and helpful forum folks) whether you've eaten there and what you thought!
I haven't eaten there yet but have an ADR for breakfast on Thursday of my trip. I'm looking forward to trying the Tonga Toast.
Hi Kris - we ate lunch there 2 years ago, and thought it was perfectly fine. We liked the atmosphere (what's not to like about the Poly atmosphere though?!) and the food was pretty good. Granted, I had the burger and Joe had the chicken sandwich, but we thought both were done nicely and will go back again next April.
Kona Cafe is one of our favorites. We usually do breakfast there at least twice per trip and more recently had dinner there.
Yes! My favorite is the steak but my seafood loving friends really like the scallops!
Kona is great, and they have great sushi also. Their prime rib is also a winner. We've never had a bad meal there.
I've never been but I've also heard good things. It's on my to do list.
Hi Kris! I haven't eaten there in quite some time, but I've never had any problem there. I think it's probably one of the best places to eat that's frequently skipped over because there isn't a huge amount of themeing to it. My husband read a breakfast review a couple months ago and insisted that we make an ADR, so we'll be having breakfast at Kone in late September. He *HAS* to get some Tong Toast!
