It's on my list of places to eat one day! I love the fact that it rotates. . . ROTATES! Wow, I think that's an incredible novelty.
You also get to see scenes of Living With The Land. It's one of my favourite rides. Sounds like a great place to eat!

I believe we ate there once. It was many many many years ago though. I think it was around 25 years ago. I also believe it had a different name. I have no idea what either one of us had. I do remember that it turns so very very very slowly. I guess it would have to be slow or you would get sick.

We're not fans of family style, so we just never even considered it.

We ate there last year for the first time and were pleasantly surprised, good food and a great interaction with the characters. It revolved approx. once in the time it took to dine and I would say that is about the norm as far as the timing of the rotation.

I've never wanted to go there just because I went to a rotating restaurant twice in my town for two separate rehearsal dinners and after both of them I had a huge migraine..I think something to do with the spinning and eating didn't bode well for me.

But that's just me..I've heard great things about GG. The characters are cute..I've seen them visiting tables a few times when we were going to Soarin' and I've heard the food is actually great. I am almost 99% positive there is a non-rotating part as well...but I think it's small.

Is it a character meal?

I've always heard good things about it, although I haven't eaten there personally, since we tend toward counter service, especially at Epcot with all the killer snacking options.

Jess..it is. The main characters there are Chip and Dale. I am pretty sure Mickey and Pluto make an apperance. If I remember correctly Chip and Dale wear cute little farming overalls.

I think the non-rotating part is a counter service restaurant called Sunshine Seasons.
