Joe and I decided to take a gamble and head over to Animal Kingdom this morning. Weather should be good at least through late morning. Who knows about crowds! Stay tuned

Fantastic! Sounds like a fun day trip. I've always heard that the Parks are super quiet just before big storms hit because so many people have canceled their trips. You'll have to keep us apprised!

Well turns out it was a brilliant idea! Fastest and easiest drive on I-4. Arrived at 9:45, just in time for FoP. After that we saw Safari was a 10 minute wait so we walked right on to that. Then we headed over to Everest for that FP. It was the quietest we've seen AK in a while. And I got a mini mango pie to bring home for desert tonight, I got my lion king popcorn bucket, and even though they ran out of Simba passhholder magnets yesterday, they had a "recovery line" set up to Scan your AP card and said they would mail us our Simba magnet! But only for passholder who came to the park and scanned their cards.
Fantastic day!!!!

Pandora was pretty quiet too. 20 minute wait for Navi and 50 for FoP.
The giraffes were right along the road and the driver took it nice and slow.
I had my mini mango pie for dessert tonight which rounded out an awesome day!

My parents and I were also at DAK yesterday! Flight of Passage said 55 for the wait time but we only waited about 20 minutes and everything else was pretty much a walk on. When we went on safari, they didn't have enough of a line to load two trucks at once. It was a beautiful day!
