Last Minute Planning

We are UNDER 3 months until Disney! My head is spinning! There are
so many little details I need to go over. Maybe if I make a list I will
be able to tackle these tasks easier!
[ul][li]Call Disney and book Magical Express transportation for Fawn and Cherie[/li][li]Sign up for Owner's Locker[/li][li]Make a list of all the things I want to take along to leave in our locker[/li][li]Purchase hopper tickets for grandma and Fawn - is this better to do when we get there?[/li][li]Purchase annual passes and Tables of Wonderland card - again, is this better to do when we get there?[/li][li]Sign up on Garden Grocer [/li][li]Make a list of food items to purchase from Garden Grocer[/li][li]Look into booking a rental van for the trip (we are NOT driving our own vehicle)[/li][/ul]
What am I forgetting? HELP!

I would purchase all of your tickets before the trip, including the Tables in Wonderland card. You can sometimes get discounts for purchasing online before you go, and it's nice to have everything in hand so you don't have to deal with guest services when all you want to do is go to the parks. Smile

Looking forward to your Owner's Locker review!

So - if I buy APs online, when do they go into effect? I know they're good for a year (sometimes 15 months if there's a deal going on) so is the date from the time of purchase or first use like the hopper passes?

When you order an AP online, you'll get a voucher in the mail to redeem for the AP when you arrive at guest services (so, yep, you still gotta deal with guest services). They're good for a year from the date you exchanged the voucher for the real AP.

Not sure if the 15-month deal is from purchase of voucher or exchange for actual AP...

The 15 month deal is only good on renewing your annual pass, not purchasing a new one. We just got annual pass last week and they are only for 12 months.

Ahh, okay. So I just need to find out where I'll get the best deal since I'll have to go to guest services regardless.

Thanks for clearing that up! I knew there was some kind of deal!

Yep! But I'm not certain that there are discounts on APs anywhere. If I remember correctly, that's the one ticket you can't get cheaper anywhere. SO -- maybe buy everything else online at a discount, then get your APs when you get there?

Only 83 days left UL! You're doing a great job. Only a few more questions left to be answered, then you can relax a bit.

Only deal I know of is the DVC member discount.

Good point. So far I've been scoping out Mousesavers and Undercover Tourist - any other sites to recommend?

When you put it that way it seems like it's so much sooner than saying 2 months and 25 day! laugh

Sounds funny, but it really does make the time seem to go by faster. Nearly three months sounds like an eternity, whereas 83 days does not.

I trust Mousesavers to have every single discount available. She's always been on top of this kind of stuff. Smile

LIFL -- No kidding! 83 days DOES sound better than 3 months.
