"Let the Memories Begin" Review

From the Orlando Sentinel. I'd love to hear feedback from anyone here who's actually seen this.

If you were like me, and thought this would have no appeal, do yourself a favor and check it out. Only a few minutes long, it's a technicolor wonder.

The initial reviews I heard were less enthusiastic. No one really hated it though.

awesome We had the chance to catch the show on Feb 13,
It was amazing and well worth the crowds to see it. It was very packed and the night time light parade was on that night . Caught the parade at 7pm and then the show started about 7:45, truely wonderful to see. Wishes started about 8:00-8:05
Have to be pretty close to the castle to get the full affect and should try to be almost center with the castle. Doesn't leave a lot of room for viewing and it was Valentines day weekens....so wow, wow, wow for the crowds. The show was truely magical and even our 15 year old boys where impressed. clapping

That's what I thought, too -- you need to be ON TOP of the castle to really see anything! Were your pictures in there? biggrin

No not a one
Hard to pick out your own picture even if it was there. They flash pictures all over the castle at different areas so hard to spot yourself even if you were lucky enough to get picked. Alot with the characters and groups of people.

I'd imagine that's going to lead to even more people camping out for position. We've never been willing to tough it out to get a good seat. Do you think it's worth it at least once?

Mickkey - thanks so much for the "person on the street" update! These are great tips! I'll probably have to live vicariously through the rest of you, though - I'm not much for waiting patiently Laughing out loud

We love this at the castle, and no you really don't need a good seat. The pics are kinda blurry, and move fairly fast. We never have our pictures taken, so we aren't ever looking for our picture. I love what they do with the castle, making it a rocket that blasts off, or building it with blocks. it's so cool how they totally transform the look of the castle briefly with projections. The pics of people I don't like or dislike, but the technology and creativity is worth seeing and fighting the crowds.

I do not think I would have the patience to sit & look for my own picture but I do really like the idea. Do they use the PhotoPass pictures?

I loved this!! The pictures were not easy to see at all.. but the other effects that they did on the castle were incredible. It took a lot of time and energy I'm sure.. I loved it!
