Let's talk Disney Jewelry

I see there is a line of jewelry from Disney Couture.... They have some nice looking items online... I was wondering if anyone has purchased from this line before and how you felt about the quality vs. the cost... I found a bracelet ($70) but it doesn't say what type of material it's made from and it's hard to judge online the weight/feel of it...I'm hoping to find it in person in the parks...but until then.... have you been happy months or years later with any of your Disney jewelry purchases? mickey

If you're going to be at Downtown Disney, check at TrenD for that one. The other possibility is the shop at the end of Main Street with all the purses and picture frames. They have a lot of the higher end (yet still costume) jewelry there.

I don't have any major Disney Jewelry items, but my daughter does and she has been happy with them so far.

I've checked every store I could find in Disney World with no luck on locating this bracelet or any medium cost adult costume jewelry...it seemed everything was watches, childrens jewelry...or a few mickey mouse necklaces's....and no villains...such a bummer! I asked a couple Cast Members about Disney Couture Jewelry and they had no idea what I was talking about. By the end of the week I logged back into the Disney Store online determined to just order the bracelet only to find out it had been sold out.... waiting sad guess my procrastination did me in this time! I just checked Ebay and see a few listed for over double the original selling price..... I'm looking thru jewelry bead companies determined to make my own version!

I bought a beautiful bracelet made by Disney Couture and paid over 100.00 for it. 6 th months later when I took it out of the pouch it came in it had tarnished. Disney wouldn't take it back even though I only wore it twice. No one at WDW knows anything about the company of Disney Couture because I thought I could contact them and get some help. I have about 1700 pieces of Disney jewelry and not one has tarnished at all except for this one.

Anyone out there collect Disney jewelry. Would love to compare. No one at Disney knows any of the history of any of their jewelry or what or how many pieces were made. I've put together some info but would love to share!

I don't think I have any Disney Couture. My daughter does have several other Disney pieces and none of it has ever tarnished.
