Longest Time Between Trips

Since you became a Disney addict. What's the longest you've gone between trips? We're in the midst of our longest dry spell right now at over a year. The sad thing is there isn't even anything in particular that's keeping us from going, it just keeps being "not quite the right time" to go. We typically went several times per year prior to this so we're kind of having withdrawal. What's your worst streak?

This is going to sound terrible, but I actually have two very long streaks.

The first was from 1975 (Disneyland) until 1998 (WDW). And another from 1998 until Donna and I went to WDW for our honeymoon in 2008. How sad is that?

1998 to 2008!?!? You've got some catching up to do! laugh

Did Donna convert you to a full fledged enthusiast?

I went from 2004-2006, then 2006 - 2009. Hopefully we will be back in a couple years!

Right NOW! It's been too long! We're considering a Columbus Day weekend trip right now, though (shhh!! don't tell. I don't want to jinx it!)

Actually, I converted Donna to a Disney fan...when we went to WDW, she had never been to WDW or Disneyland. Nor had she ever been on a cruise...DCL sure was a wonderful introduction to the world of cruisin!

If you had to give up one for life, would you give up the parks or the cruises?

We pretty much go each year. Usually in May, though, so this wait until October is a long one! Wink
