I just booked a 4 night stay during Thanksgiving week for my boyfriend, his parents and myself. We are staying at All-Star Sports. Really don't want to stay there because of the refurbishment of the food court but that's all they had available for those dates for the value resorts. We don't really eat at the resort except maybe breakfast or a snack or two. Maybe it won't be as bad as I think. They also mentioned that they arcade isn't available but that's okay too. I think this is his dads first time coming to Disney World and it took a lot of pushing for him to come because he was originally given the wrong numbers so he kept saying it was expensive. But we only asked them to pay a small portion of the trip. We will have the Disney Dining Plan with 1 TS, 1 QSR and 1 Snack per day. We are also thinking about getting photopass+ because his mom wants to get as many pictures as possible of his dad on the trip. My boyfriend is also going to try and set up a ride along at the Richard Petty Driving Experience for his dad.
If we do go ahead and get the photopass+ we will set up either the Crystal Palace or 1900 Park Fare for dinner since they are covered on the photopass+ and the characters are there all day at both. We really like Raglan Road, The Plaza Restaurant, Liberty Tree Tavern, Teppan Edo, Coral Reef and 50s Prime Time Cafe.
His parents would fly in November 26 and that's when we would check in. Then they would fly out November 30. Not really sure which days we would spend in which parks and we would us our ADRs to help guide us. We may go to MVMCP while they are here if there is a party going on. We will be celebrating my boyfriends fathers birthday as well along with his first visit.
