Mason Family roadtrip trip report :)

So we leave in 6 days for our first ever roadtrip and our first ever spring trip to Disney. We usually only go once a year in November but my cousin said we could stay at her house (she lives in Orlando) and we have annual passes so this trip was kind of like a why not since all we would have to pay for would be gas and food. You all know that i don't really like to write trip reports where I list what we do every day so I will only talk about the things that are new to us this trip. Those would be.....

Driving from Ohio to Florida
Flower and Garden Festival
Staying off property
Character breakfast and Hollywood and Vine with the Disney Junior Characters

We also have some time already scheduled to hang out with Jessi to. So excited to see her again....We love hanging out with her and my kids love her to

And since this is kinda a test trip to see if we ever do this again... ill just hijack my wifes thread and post in here as well. Ill do more video reports like last time. Seemed easier than actually writing things out. Ill do some from the road as well. And if anyone is familiar with Vine... ill do some Vine videos and maybe post some here. Just got to get through this work day, and then I can get ready.

Jess and the kids are. I just wanna get through the driving. Especially the Turn Pike in WV. Once through that, and we get to Georgia... ill be golden.

I can not wait to see what you think about the drive. We have done it for years, many many years. We even did it when the boys were little. To us, the road trip is part of our vacation. I will admit it is a bit more enjoyable now that it is just the two of us though. Are you guys driving straight through or are you stopping overnight someplace? We did drive straight through once and once was enough. That was just too tiring.

Both ways we will be stopping, but on Thursday were gonna drive to Savannah, Georgia which should be around 12-14 hours. So the first day will be a long one. But then its a hop, skip and a tiny jump to Disney the next day. One the way back we wont be as aggressive. Splitting it half and half.

We can't wait for the "Mase Report". We did the 20 hr drive from Oklahoma to Orlando straight through last Dec. Never again. Smart idea stoping.

I mean I know how I do it. But all of the YouTube apps now give you this shorter URL. If I want to add that link... I have to go to the regular YouTube site... which is very hard to get to via Mobile Device because they want to use these shorter URL's. Was just recommending this because it seems as if this is what YouTube is going to now. But I guess ill have to try to edit my link and change the http://youtu.be/ to h t t p s : // w w w . y o u t u b e . c o m / w a t c h ? v =

It's possible I didn't explain what you needed it to do quite right. The contact form email (in the bar at the top) should go right to him if you want to give it another shot. The other mods and I don't have any way to authorize specific URLs.

So far were looking great. We are in Virginia having lunch. So far making great time. Before this break. Tomtom has putting us in at 6:10pm. So was thinking around 8. But so far. Every stop I've been making up plus time. So I'm thinking 7:30. Originally tomtom had us in at 6:30. So yeah. Doing well.

The kids have been very well behaved other then my daughter asking quite frequently if we are there yet
