MNSSHP

So after I changed my mind 100 times I have finally decided to go to MNSSHP! Did I make the right decision?? I sure hope so! My question to you guys is...Do most people dress up? I know the kids will but do the adults?

A lot of people will be dressed up some in very elaborate costumes and other in Halloween tees. It's up to you and your comfort level. I've dressed up the last few years and will do so this trip as well. You will have a great time!

You will NOT regret the decision to go. As for costumes like Dee said many will dress up and many will not. When we went we did not dress in costumes and when the cast member jokingly asked what we were dressed up as, I replied that we were dressed as "old people on a fixed income" the CM laughed and said that it was the best answer all night and he gave us an extra handful of trick or treat candy.

The adults and the children in my family are all dressing up. I think it will be part of the fun. What night are you going? We'll be there October 18th.

Yes nsaunier , young and old alike dress up, and like Vettelover said, "you will not regret going". Hint, go to the second parade and use the first one to get on the rides with very little wait! We had no one, I mean no one on Pirates with us, or Haunted Mansion. That in itself was a little freaky on Pirates. But the Haunted Mansion, you could feel no one else around or else it was the "spirits" Wooooaaaaaaahhhhhhhaaaaa!

I dressed up for the first time last trip and loved it! My parents and brother just bought some MNSSHP tees and still looked great! Just remember if you're dressing up you can't wear a face covering mask! You'll have a great time!

Like it's been said above, use the first parade to hit all the rides, HM is super popular on MNSSHP nights so make sure you head there, first! Then just work your way around the park, hitting all your favourite rides - if in costume you might want to avoid Splash mountain though, I made this mistake, my costume make-up got all smeared and my tutu was uncomfortable soggy for a good while!

And there is nothing worse than having to walk around in a soggy tutu. laugh laugh

You made the right choice!! I adore MNSSHP! Be sure to see the Parade, I think it's the best one that they do.

I didn't dress up the first year we went, I did dress up the second year. This year I'm so sad that the party isn't in my budget, I will totally miss going. I can't wait to hear what you think!

I definitely don't think you'll regret going! I would love to go but unfortunately it's just not in our budget this trip! Maybe next fall trip....

I wanted to go as well but dont think its going to happen. Even tried to talk Nicole (nsaunier) into going as a horse and sneak me in as the rear end, sounds like a good idea to me. rolling rolling rolling

We attended MNSSHP last night, we also spent the day in MK. We were surprised at how few people were in MK throughout the day, the longest we waited for a ride was 10 minutes for the Jungle Cruise. We left about 4 to come back to our room, have a quick nap and headed back in costume around 7:30. The bus and the park were quite crowded, with many, many people dressed up. We were also surprised at how many more people showed up later in the evening. The fireworks were great, the parade was fantastic, we really enjoyed ourselves. We also noticed that the CMs were much more generous with candy later in the evening lol yay

Hubby and I went last year for the first time and LOVED it!! The parade is excellent, and I agree on catching the 2nd one, often a lot of your families, with small kids, will leave after the first parade and fireworks, making it easier to get a good spot for the 2nd set. We dressed up, how can you go trick or treating if you don't dress up?? Most people, adults included, are in costume, so you certainly won't feel out of place. We walked out of there with well over 5 lbs of candy, it was crazy! And like someone said above, the later it got, the more generous CMs were. Also, you can revisit any of the candy spots you want, you just have to reenter the line. Ohhhh and the villain's dance party was a blast. 1 tip, if you are too busy having fun and forget the time and can't get a good spot for the fireworks, try timing it with astro orbiter! It's a spectacular view!! Hope you have a great time!! I'm sure you will. Can't wait, we will be there on 10/23!!!

Peace, love, and Mickey Mouse!
