Hi Folks..Just noting down the proposed MNSSHP dates in October..We arrive on Sunday 12th...Dates are Monday13th..Thursday 16th...Friday 17th..Sunday 19th..and Tuesday 21st...We don't fancy the 13th as we are just there..also would prefer missing out Friday 17th and Sunday 19th as I believe that Friday and Monday are Florida school holidays..So hoping to land Tuesday 21st...Do we have to wait until the 180 day thing again..?

I think you can buy your tickets as soon as Disney announces the dates. I do believe that is usually sometime in May.
I bought mine last year on May 1st if you keep an eye on Disney website or if you have facebook its gets updated straight away on the Disney parks Blog
I've never had trouble getting the date I wanted. Even Halloween night is usually available for a while

Thank you everyone...I was hoping to book it when we arrive at our resort..Is there a crowd limit to how many people they let into MK on that night.?.
You can wait till you get there but you will save a few $$ by booking and paying for it before you arrive. There is a limit to how many tickets they sell for each party but we have never seen the party on a Tuesday night be anywhere near full.

Cheers Scrappy, yeh i saw the pre booked prices but iam getting a new visa card issued in october and thats the one i intend to use at WDW as it has 18 months no percent interest on it..
I've also heard they go on sale May 1st. We're planning on going that night (oct 21) as well. I'll be buying ours right away because I'm just so excited for it! We've done MVMCP but it's our first time doing the Halloween party. I've been wanting to go for years 
You can get your tickets as soon as they go on sale. Last year I had my tickets on May 6th (had them in my hot little hands) so I must of ordered them on May 1st . And those were for October 24, 2013.

The party is so much fun. I hope to do it again this year too!
We may go the 21st as well or perhaps Friday the 23rd.

Not sure how accurate the information is but I read today that the tickets go on sale on Monday.
Edit to add link. I don't normally read this site so I don't know how reliable their information is.
My TA isn't 100% sure, but she also mentioned today that she expects tickets to go on sale on the 5th.
