Your Shopping List..

OMG.. eek ..Ok, Here we have it...My DW has a passion for handbags, we could start a shop selling them. But she really wants one of those Dooney & Burke ones this year..On my shopping list is a nice WDW polo shirt..My DS is checking out pins available in October...So do you have a shopping list on things you want to buy.?

Hubby always looks for WDW polo shirts and usually buys at least one per trip, maybe more.

But I don't go with any kind of shopping list. Doesn't mean I won't pick up a thing or three, but I don't arrive with anything specific in mind.

I never have anything specific in mind but that doesn't mean I don't find an item or three. The DH likes t shirts and hats so we always come with a few of each. We shall see come September what comes home with us. biggrin

We look for a magnet and an ornament every place we go, but since I just went in August I'm not sure if I'll go that route. If I was going to pick one I'll get another ornament to commemorate our mother/daughter trip. Maybe a frame too?

We always buy a new Christmas ornament when visiting WDW. It's a tradition. We have collected magnets every place we've been together starting with our Honeymoon. We tend to get a different Disney one each visit too.

We have been purchasing a signed celebrity autograph picture from Sid's (located inside entrance at DHS) for the last few visits too. It is now a "thing" we must do every trip.

We usually buy a Christmas ornament. But I don't need to be on the look out for stuff to buy... it just seems to find me Wink

A Christmas ornament for myself, and DD will be picking out a plush Minnie...she is deciding now between the 2014 Minnie (actually a rather ugly one this year) and the Halloween Minnie to match her set from 2010.

I do have an extensive mug collection and I am proud of it. I do also pick up a piece or two of jewelry that hubby either doesn't see or is wise enough not to see.

I don't buy the purses because they are just so expensive an easier/cheaper online thru "alternative sources". I admit I this trip I want a trivet for my kitchen stove (set teapot on) and possibly a spoon holder. This time the trip is really to have fun with friends.

I like baseball caps but the selection lately has been dumb. T-shirts are always my best thing.

We initially hunted for collector plates but disney stopped offering those recently and the person we would buy them for is no longer with us so we have moved on to small kitchen items or simple clothing items like hoodies.

I don't go down there with a "list" but I usually will find a magnet I just have to have! I'm not sure what to do with my collection now that my new refrigerator has an aluminum front! mickey

You are just torturing me, because there is a purse that I should have bought, but I let it get away. *Sigh* The kiddos are usually pin happy, and not just for buying but trading, too. And I had been thinking about an ornament I saw on our June trip--Mickey dressed as a Haunted Mansion butler--that I forgot to circle back and get. Not this time! I was so happy when I found it!

Get these small Velcro stickers..The sticky bit goes on your fridge and the other goes on the magnet..Then just stick them together...

For me, I usually get an autograph book, T-shirts, hats, maybe a plush or two. I don't buy that much because I am concerned about luggage space and the overall weight. I mean, 50 lbs is almost the universal maximum for luggage in terms of travelling. Then again, as I've said, money rules sometimes. I'm satisfied I got my Indiana Jones hat last trip. But I'm not gonna lie. I really want the green Goofy hat with the floppy ears the most and I'm definitely going to get that whenever my next one is!

Hubby likes T-shirts and caps. This time I may have to look for one of those purses, but honestly, I want to get a couple of cookbooks and an ornament. May throw in some earrings....but if something strikes my fancy....I may deviate from said plan.

I always get a shot glass. My fiance and I collect them from whereever we go. So even though we have a couple from WDW, I always like to find a new one. The fiance got a hat last year that somehow shrunk so he wants to replace it in September, I also would like to get ears and an autograph book as last time we didn't really meet any characters so this time we are going to slow it down and see if we can get as many characters as we see.

Usually I pick up some clothes while I'm down in WDW...a few shirts, sometimes a jacket or some sweats, some night clothes...in January I went and my parents went two weeks after me, and I called them with a few items I had forgotten to pick up while I was down there that I needed. I collect Dumbo plushes, so every time a new one comes out, I buy it. I've got a collection amounting to over 20 Dumbos, possibly more. I must count

This trip I plan on nabbing a sweatshirt, Christmas ornament, a couple vinylmations, and I think I want to take a crack at finding some fun pins. Maybe do what crazycatperson's hubby did and get one from every resort we've stayed/eaten at?

I love to collect the charms from the Emporium, on Main St. in MK. I put them on my purse as zipper pulls and on my keychain. I have about 20 of them. I get a new one every few months. I also get a few new key chains a year. DH loves the baseball caps. He just bought his 5th one this weekend. Now he has one w/ grumpy, 2 Donald, mickey, and goofy.

For me it's the big yellow Mickey slippers... They are sooooooo comfy! - I often buy two sets just in case I don't get back in time before the last pair needs to go to the trash.

That said, I'm pretty sure we always pick up a Christmas "something".

I've promised myself a decent shirt this year that I can wear to work. I've still got the last one I bought over 4 years ago!
Oh - And you've got to bring back home some Goofy's Candy!!! awesome

Surely you must have seen these bad boys before?!

You can get them all round property but guaranteed at MouseGears and Downtown.
(Pretty sure the Emporium on Main Street has them too)

You might still find it on ebay. They have a LOT of Disney purses, many of which from last fashion cycle.

I am not really sure what is on my list for this trip. I usually buy a purse. I ended up with two on our last trip. I told Mrhub I now have enough Mickey purses but I do not promise that one will not end up coming home with me. biggrin

VelcroPooh

A coffee mug, Christmas ornament and I'm with your wife about purses Smile I wanted a Dooney and I wanted the new Vera Bradley blue one when we went. I got the Vera but instead of the Dooney, I ended up falling I love with the Harvey seatbelt bags instead and got one of those!
