Most Missed Disney Attraction?

Jeff's refurb thread got me thinking about all of the permanently closed Disney attractions that I grew up loving as a kid. If you could choose one closed down Disney ride for them to reinstate, what would it be? Mr. Toad's Wild Ride? Snow White? Body Wars? 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea? Honey, I Shrunk the Audience?

Mine would probably be Mr. Toad's just because it was such an iconic ride for me as a kid.

Mine would be 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea..remember riding it in the late 70's. Had tickets then and had to make sure we saved enough for me to ride it. Kinda disappointed when you could look up and see the top of the boat was out of the water.lol..but I loved it.

It used to be Mr. Toad's...but now I have to add Snow White to the list...and I might actually miss Snow White more than Mr. Toad's...

Man, I didn't even know Snow White was closing until now. It was shut down both times I went and I always wanted to try it. Oh well...

Me too, with 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea a close second. I wish there were some way for them to bring Mr. Toad back but in a more updated version. My kids LOVE the cartoon! They also are big fans of the book "Wind In The Willows". They were disappointed when we first took them to Disney that the ride wasn't there. So glad I got to experience it as a kid. Such a blast.

My favorite extinct attraction is "If You Had Wings". As a little kids I just adored it, it helped foster a love for travel, I would ride over and over again. Somme of the places that I've been in my travels I've visited specifically because they were part of that ride. I still burst out in the song sometimes. Very few of my friends, even my Disney friends know what I'm singing. So sad.

If you had wings, you could do many things
You could widen your world, if you had wings
Chorus: If you had wings, if you had wings, if you had wings, had wings, had wings, had wings, had wings
You could fly to a plaza, where the people play
At the Mexican fiesta, in the land of ole
Chorus
You could fly to Bermuda, like a flying fish
Have a ball on a cruise ship, or catch fish if you wish
Chorus
Wanna buy a sombrero, made of real fine straw?
How about a nice handbag, for pretty mama?
Chorus
You could follow a tradewind, down to Old San Juan
And explore an old fortress, before traveling on
Chorus
You could flitter and flutter, to the isle of springs
To that emerald green garden, and do wonderful things
Chorus
You could fly with flamingos, to that old French town
Go on regale New Orleans, wear the carnival crown
Chorus
You do have wings, you can do all these things,
You can widen your world, for you have wings

Ride I would most to try that I never did, 20,000 legaues under the sea.
Ride that I would most like to see come back, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
Actually, I say that, but I am not sure how much I would ride if it did, probably as much as I ride the Pooh Ride, which is really only once every few visits. And I do love the idea of Body Wars in 3D.

I really liked the "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" game/show at DHS (D-MGM then). I am not a big fan of "American Idol," so that was a change for the worse IMO.

From the Disneyland perspective: Sad( Bring back the Country Bears! I miss the Jamboree sooooo much! Can't wait to get back to WDW to see them again. And again. And again. I miss the Bears!

Oh yeah, ditto this one, too! I didn't think of this just because it's *technically* still there. Body Wars I remember going on everytime even though it made me sick Sick

I miss the Lion King Parade; sort of an attraction. The best parade Ive ever seen. Great music, athleticism, costumes and music. I saw it many times at Disneyland, did it play at WDW?

I miss the really old school rides, like 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Skyway to Fantasyland and when Downtown Disney was simply called Lake Buena Vista and they had that old-fashioned wood and metal playground as opposed to the plastic slides that shock you today.

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. My sons would have loved this ride.

I have 2 boys, 0 girls, so the Princesspalooza of the Fantasyland Expansion doesn't excite them. They'd love to pretend to be on a submarine, tho.

The Skyway. Fantastic views from up there and you could look around and not bump into anyone!
